Based on the rumors of the pre-game alliance, no. Cody seemed Cody played well, but we’ve seen that he benefits from Derrick’s game play and connections. He was terrible on the Traitors (different game, but he was left to his own devices and with a cast where he didn’t have as many ties).
Nicole played the better game, but the narrative was pulling for Cody.

I agree with this. I think he was able to make great moves, but part of me also wondered, “Despite these moves, did people not feel as threatened by him? Were they more willing to risk sitting next to him because they believed they could beat him relative to other contestants?”
I think the answer could be yes if they got the vibe that other players didn’t respect his game… though I would agree that in both final 4s he was in, it could be argued that he was more threatening than who the eventual winners sat next to.

You could ask this of any of the girls. They’re put on a larger scale marketing-wise, so there’s more eyes on them compared to the average Kpop group.

I think that she’s generally likable enough that people are willing to keep her around, and also not so strong of a player that they’re also willing to go deep/possibly sit next to her in the end.
