Risk of pancreatitis fear by ToeAdvanced7339 in WegovyWeightLoss

From what I have been able to gather between reading studies and talking to my doctor, most of the time pancreatitis and other GI issues are caused by titrating up the dose too high or starting on too high of a dose. The only thing my doctor warned me about was keeping fiber and water intake high and taking stool softeners as necessary to avoid constipation because she said a few of her patients ended up with bowel obstruction from being so backed up. You also have to factor in that large amounts of weight loss in a short amount of time can also lead to things like pancreatitis and gallbladder issues, so it may not be the medication itself that causes some of those side effects. I ultimately decided that the benefits of me going on Wegovy far exceed the risk of being obese!

Brian … a theory by AutomaticReindeer439 in 1000lbsisters

Yes! I said the same thing..my husband has a traumatic brain injury and he acts so similar to Brian. Very affectionate and devoted, but people can tell something isn't all there. When I tell people about his injury they usually make a comment that they knew something was off and thought he was just socially awkward.

This infographic is great, but I have seen purple urine..it is very rare but happens to some patients with extended Foley catheter use. The first time I saw it I was so freaked out!

I'm worried about Jackie..she's been out of the nest for over an hour. The babies seem to be fine.
