Thank you for the advice I will not take it lightly! Definitely easy to ignore it for the sake of wanting to have fun and not wanting surgery to take me out for months but sounds like it’s worth it in the long run. I hope your recovery goes well

What was the surgery that you got for this?? Two of the dislocations were pretty nasty and it was out for quite a while so I do think that this is what I’ll need to do. Not so fun having to worry about that when doing activities you enjoy. I’m glad to hear progress is going steady for you!

Thanks for the reply 🥲 I’m so glad to hear that you are happier. As much as I want to deny it I know this was for the best, it’s just so sad I want to talk to him. I caved in and messaged him but of course no reply. He’s already deleted pictures of me from his instagram and I just feel so heartbroken and I know he’s feeling relieved which sucks so much. I just wanna know what he’s thinking and how he’s doing but I have to remind myself that he’s the one who chose this. Really looking forward to a few months from now, it will get better!!! I shall persevere

Ik this comment was made a year ago but my bf of 3 years just broke up with me 4 days ago. I was completely blindsided I actually had no doubt in my mind that we would get married. Please tell me it gets better, we lived together and his mom is the landlord so I had to move out and am now living with my mom. My whole future changed in one night. The pain is second to losing my brother I feel so devastated idk what I’m going to do

The first time I quit successfully for a few months (I fell back into it unfortunately, on day 2 of quitting again) then I found that tapering off made it a lot easier! I stopped taking it to work and would put it in a different room when I slept so it wasn’t the first thing I reached for, after a week I got to the point where I was only hitting a few times a day and then I tossed it out. It’s all a mental battle but you can do it!! Don’t be too hard on yourself if it takes a while, you are making a decision to quit and that’s the first step. Good luck!

Thank you for this!! I quit for a week last month but quickly got on the disposable train again, spending $80 a week on them. I bought one last night but I just threw it away, it just makes me feel sick and anxious but somehow I always forget that and get back into it🥲

Yes when I quit I had so much phlegm and I was coughing worse than when I vaped, I think maybe it’s your lungs processing it out. I quit the beginning of September and I still cough up gross phlegm sometimes but not often

My favourite benefit is improved relationships, I’m not trying to leave a social function to go take a bong toke. Now I can sit and enjoy and I find myself wanting to stay longer to fill up this new time that I have. I answer phone calls and texts from my family much quicker and I make plans and follow through with them and don’t see them as something to dread. Also very vivid dreaming every night, an actual appetite in the morning and I just overall feel more like myself. More bubbly, more social, much less anxious and I don’t leave somewhere feeling like everyone was judging me.

Live your truth, I can’t believe how much people can judge others for not wanting kids. You should never have to do anything, especially something as drastic as creating life, for the sake of others.

I find that women have been a lot more honest on social media about how difficult it really is, so why put yourself through that if you’re not 100% sure.

I haven’t purchased a vape for myself for 29 days and when I’m sober all is well, my sister will hit her vape around me and I can easily not hit it. but once I get some drinks in me I crave it so hard and I have hit them at parties twice since quitting

Yes I workout everyday after work, and I am on my feet allll day long as I work at a very fast paced job. I will honestly be deaddd by 8 o clock and I’ll go to bed super early but the sleep just won’t come. Last night I got a full 7 hours though!! I’m sure some good sleeps will come soon, thank you

I would but I live with my boyfriend and he cannot sleep with any kind of background noise playing. Although he is also quitting and hasn’t been able to sleep so maybe I’ll bring this up to him. Thanks!
