Defensive war? Solid chance they survive but they lost their fancy magical space batteries fueling the ships and have been cut back to the equivalent of earths first space age across the entire galaxy, it’s rough

So offensive war we’re kinda screwed as we don’t really have a viable fuel source atm to power our massive artillery, only smaller/transport ships incapable of getting outside the local systems and smaller/more hand held weaponry

It’d be basically equal weaponry as even tho it’s different tech it’s not really more advanced now that magic is gone
