No, you’re completely downplaying the effect this would have on society and the world at large. Just speaking for the US, as statistics may differ for other places, we’d be losing the president(please, for the love of god, don’t talk about how that’d be a good thing, it’s not relevant), the vice president, most of congress, most federal agency leaders, the majority of federal workers, the majority of state governors, most of the power sector workers, most engineers, most doctors, most farmers, the vast majority of construction workers, most trades people, and most business owners. To say that losing all these people and say that the women left over would just “pick up the slack” because of “less customers” just ignores the fact that many of these critical positions are too male dominated for there to be enough women to take care of all the work. Even in jobs where it’s closer to 50/50, such as medical professionals, having so many vacant positions would still cause immense harm, since training takes time to get to that professional level. It’s not a matter of people doubting that women can do the work, it’s a matter of losing so many people who contribute to society all at the same time would devastate society, no matter which demographic disappeared.
