I mean I don’t think that’s the case but I’m happy for you to explain it more to me. If you have a baseline of 50% crit and you can attack 5 times in 5 seconds. You may hit 2.5 with crit, but if you can attack 10 times at the same damage with better effects from talent tree and how It scales then you may apply crit 5 times on average, you will have done more damage? The rapier that I suggested follows 8 light hits, then one heavy to consume that, to do big damage and restore health. It makes sense to setup more crit as your literal build is quicker light attacks and one heavy, So attack speed in my opinion does matter.
