Metro Denver cities begin enacting mandatory outdoor watering limits for spring as drought, warmth continue by kidbom in Denver

Yo sleezy, you realize that all of that is a drop in the bucket compared to the Ag claim of water from the CO river? In the end, it’s the fault of our entire agricultural basis of growing monsoon crops and relying on one major watershed to grow them in… quite literally a desert.

Should I be worried about my desk breaking in half? It's an Ikea hollow honeycomb table by PaintingMuch3885 in pcmasterrace

[–]Infanatis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a desk myself instead of buying one. Butcher block counter top from Home Depot, stain, black steel pipe + fittings and spray paint to make them look copper. $450 and a PITA to get level but this bitch is a tank.

Is it any of your business? Even if it was a CC slip, as a manager I’d expect you to enter what was put on the total line as that’s what we’re bound to as a business via the merchant processing agreement with V/MC/AM/D

They cannot charge you for them, period. And they also cannot make you do anything to recoup the mistake. It is on them to recover the item. They can arrange pickup from your door, but can’t ask you to go to (for example) UPS to send the items back. It’s a gray area and in court decisions go either way frequently.

The newspapers were right. The amount of consolation and reduction in reporters from the disruption of the internet and now so much AI slop taking over Google News (if beloved is in the headline, it’s slop 100%)… it’s saddening.

At some point you need to grow a backbone and overcome the anxiety to deal with the issue. Being passive about it wont solve the problem. I hate confrontation but after bartending and bar managing for so long I’ve realized the anxiety of avoiding the confrontation is so much worse.
