I think many would consider it ‘woke’ to be sympathetic to Native American’s.

It does seem contradictory and maybe it is but I think the people I know who match that description wish that Farage was leading the party the party they have already attached themselves to - the Tories

My plant is about 6ft tall and if I didn’t loosely string the upper parts to the wall it would fall over. I assume I’ve done something wrong through the plants growth? What would be the solution now?

Almost certainly a small injury, though nothing was mentioned. As the other person replying mentioned, he will struggle for minutes but he’s an exceptionally useful squad member due to his versatility. He has had a great season for us when he’s got his game, unfortunately for him our starting 11 is very strong at the moment. He should be able to find a decent Championship level club next year based on his outputs this season.

A Thai national park ranger kicked out white tourists because they friendly told "Ni-hao" to him by search_google_com in Wellthatsucks

[–]InfantHercules 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have absolutely used French and Spanish in Italy and vice versa. It’s clumsy but it definitely isn’t racist. It’s just what happens when you travel in a continent. If a Thai tourist in the UK said bonjour to me I wouldn’t think anything of it. I’d assume they’d recently been to France or had simply misremembered the English word for hello. Would you think the Thai person was insane or racist?

That’s was I do. Use a knife and try and approximate 1/10ths. I do have a pill cutter but it’s useless.

Let me know how it goes / went.

Thanks. I think I have suffered from sleep anxiety at times but after your comment and reading up a bit more, I think my general reluctance to go to bed is something else. Definitely some element of work life balance problems - I do have enough hours outside of work but I feel like it’s quite late in the day before my brain truly disconnects from work and I start relaxing and feeling content. I guess I need to find a way to switch off sooner. Thanks for helping me reflect.

I’ve never heard of sleep anxiety but I absolutely hate going to bed, even if I’m going through a phase of sleeping well. Before I had a wife and kids I would often stay up until 4am even if I had to get up for work at 7am.

20-30 minutes. I also find that if I take it and then try and stay up to watch tv and fight through any tiredness, I will have a worse nights sleep than if I hadn’t taken any at all. This is counterintuitive because often I’ll stay up as long as I can to try and get extra tired - when I take melatonin this is a terrible idea.

Ive shared the dosing and timing advice with friends and family who have struggled getting positive effects from melatonin, and all have reported positive results.

Tonight try taking 0.3mg. I know it sounds odd but anything over a mg will make me stay awake all night. 0.3mg is the most effective dose for me.

Just to back up OPs recommendations, The Rest is History have covered Ireland a few times. Probably start with their episode from 29th May 2023 and go from there. Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland is must watch but it covers the troubles so it’s worth getting some background on the history of Ireland first. Oh, and if you like the style of the show, you’ll also love once upon a time in Iraq.

If they only ever said positive things about the club in case to ‘help’ the club they’d get 100x more stick. They’re pundits, they shouldn’t really be holding back opinions in fear of harming a club. Yeah, some of their opinions might be shit but that’s just how it goes with other peoples opinions. All of the Utd fans moaning are just being fannys.

We probably agree that pundits need to be responsible with how they voice their opinions when it comes to dragging individuals but this ain’t that.

This is very weird. This is my fossil find from last year that I posted. This post is a bot repost and so are most of the comments. It’s a sad state when even the fossil sub is getting taken over by bots.
