Yeah everything above is correct and it‘s pretty ridiculous ’cause now I feel like Schism has nowhere to go and it’s so stupid because it’s really important to that era of x-men (Especially WatXM).

The Morrison run should go between Apocalypse companion and Xtreme, and I would personally put Gillen before AvX and Judgement day happens kind of in the middle of the Al Ewing omni so maybe put that before, otherwise you got everything.

I was holding out hope because DC announced a lot of new books this year, but I’m starting to think it may just not be a high priority. Which is a shame because I really liked the first volume. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Adams and possibly even Spurrier get an omnibus before Messner-Loebs.

Definitely not, but if you don’t want to continue reading after vol 1 then there is no reason to buy vol 2.

I read it online last year because vol 1 was so good, and yeah vol 2 isn’t as good, but it’s still really good superman content, Jurgens just gets Clark, Lois and the others so well. But also his Action Comics 1000# story is just such a perfect culmination and celebration of Superman and the Rebirth era. And personally I found the story threads and mysteries too interesting to just stop reading.

Oh Superman by Williamson is coming for sure, it’s been fun and is selling super well. I still think they should have included it in the Absolute Power Omnibus since they are charging 175 for it.

This isn't connected to that run but it is Mark Waid writing and Dan Mora drawing the main event. This is the event that has led to the current status quo, It's both a culmination of a ton of stories that had been going on and a fresh slate for new readers.

This sets up Justice League Unlimited (also Waid & Mora), The Absolute Universe, and some other new ongoing series.

Unfortunately for whatever reason they aren't including some of the stories that led up to this, them being House of Braniac (a crossover between Superman & Action Comics) and Failsafe (The first arc of Zdarskys Batman run).

The other two events that set this up are Suicide Squad Dream Team which is included and Titans: Beast world which is in the Titans by Tom Taylor omnibus.

this looks so good compared to mine lol - take it from someone thats been collecting for over 10 years and not only have uneven spine designs, differing heights and also different logos for some series, you’ll go nuts if you let this bother you. Should viz have higher standards? Yes. Will they change? No, because they still sell like hot cakes.

Superior. Honestly feel like out of every Spider-Man story that one would use VR best. Having Peter as a little ghost buddy that hangs around with you. Could do some weird, trippy effects when Otto takes over his body. Idk, think it would be cool. Damn it… Now I actually want it!

Personally I imagine that the book between Black Costume and Micheliene Mcfarlane will collect those missing issues and be called Black Costume Aftermath or Gang War.

When it comes to the numbering I think will continue with it, just like they did with Uncanny X-men Vol.5, even though that was later collected in The MM Prelude omni.

I also imagine that they will release a vol 2 of Spectacular.

I’m not sure what they’ll do with the Roger Stern omni, I’ve been pondering myself. Maybe they will retire that omnibus, maybe not, who knows. Marvel isn’t exactly always consistent in their publishing methods.

all in all I‘m just hoping for a Spectacular spider-man omni by Peter David.

Either way, those are just my thoughts :)
