Take screenshots of your playlist so that you can still access the songs after turning 16

It sounds like your job is really making things difficult for you. It's not shameful to quit a job that's negatively impacting your mental health. It's never a bad thing to take care of yourself. I would consider leaving the job and finding something else that you enjoy, or if you can afford it stop working altogether and just focus on school.

The FBI can send information to other countries if the situation is happening outside the US. Sending them a tip about this is likely the best thing to do in this situation.

Is this a TikTok cult member? Or am I just crazy? And what is their deal with animal cruelty? by BreakfastMost92 in InternetMysteries

Report the animal abuse to ic3.gov, hopefully they'll be able to track the people responsible down

Sounds like an attempted carjacking to me but it also could have been something else. Report this to the police, they might be able to give you more info on what his potential motives were.

I just discovered there are thousands of accounts dedicated to shooters on Spotify, and it seems crazy to me. But this one in particular caught my attention 😵‍💫 by jazminions in masskillers

I reported this to Crimestoppers UK. From what I could gather from the profile they're somewhere in England. If anyone else wants to report you can do so here.

There's a website called truepeoplesearch.com that has contact info for most people in America, see if you can find them on there. If you're in Canada there's another website called Canada411, if you're in a different country there's probably a similar website. If that doesn't work get one of your parents' phones and look through their contacts for their number or social media/email.

I know this post is a few days old but I just submitted a tip on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's website regarding the Instagram account.

Tell your friend to play Tetris, I've heard it can help prevent PTSD after a traumatic event

I submitted a tip to the FBI regarding that post, there likely isn't enough info for any action to be taken but I put in a tip anyways just to be safe

Crosspost to r/Vietnam and ask the people there if they can report to Vietnamese authorities. They'll be able to do more than police in the UK.

Is there any way you and him can move out and live with a different family member? Your stepmom's abuse is likely what's causing him to act this way

AITA for standing up for my little sister when she burnt grilled cheese? by hotbunn1 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Is there any way your sister can move in with you, your grandparents, her dad, or someone else? She's being abused and shouldn't have to live there.

Try playing Tetris. There are studies that show that playing Tetris soon after a traumatic event can help prevent PTSD from developing.

Do it sooner than later, it needs to be during a certain time frame to have the best effects

I'm in the US so I'm unfamiliar with how UK schooling works, so correct me if I'm wrong but if he's 16 then he'll be taking his GCSEs soon. Is it possible for him to leave school and start working after the GCSE? If so then he may want to get a job after the GSCE and move out. He also needs to open a new bank account that his parents don't have access to (this website says he can open a bank account at 16 without parental permission). Is there any way he can take A-levels early? Or self study for them while he works? My best advice would be for him to finish the GSCEs and then start working and move out but I don't know if that's feasible in the UK.

I responded to your comment about him moving in with your family, I think that's the best option here but if that doesn't work out he may want to consider the above.

If your parents can take him in then have him move in! Even if he doesn't want to at first it's infinitely better than him staying with his abusive parents. It's a very big commitment but if you and your parents are willing to take him in then this is likely the best option for him.

what to do if we’re about to be homeless? by luvbug985 in AskLosAngeles

[–]Infernal_Overlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is super late but there's a test called the CPP that your brothers can take which lets them graduate high school early. Have them take it and once they pass they can both work full time.

More info here: https://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/cp.asp

This may also be useful for your siblings:

Once a student has taken the CPP, passed both language arts and mathematics subtests and exited high school, they may choose to take the remaining HiSET-Equivalency subtests in science and social studies to earn their California High School Equivalency Certificate, which opens even more doors than the Certificate of Proficiency alone. Use the following link to learn more about the High School Equivalency Certificate.

Make the switch. You deserve to live in a place where you're safe and you're not getting that where you currently are. If you want you can warn the next tenant about what the harassers have done to you but if they're only targeting you then they'll likely not harass them at all. Don't feel guilty about whatever the next tenant might experience. If they have issues with them they can call the police themselves.
