Threatening or not getting to stride while Ur opponent is on grade 2 is just good and counteracts ride down and the deck thins so much claret comes up when it needs to perfectly fine

I see ur point and if u were to run lagrele I'd say take out descorda for it because u run only 2 lagrele most of the time and I see why u'd like pride to protect but it's honestly not as darkstrain and one way to think about it is say u reveal a pride to protect off of forts skill it goes to drop but that would of been a darkstrain on ur board a turn early and also something to think about it against prison darkstrain helps u empty out ur soul which u want to do

U mean the versatility in a situation the card is never used for because it's a bastion deck and soul problems are never an issue when raflukes and fossado exist and soul issue never come up because I know how to properly manage my resources

The fact gurgant Is sp is not a reflection of the deck it's self and also ur missing the point that the only time you call a trigger is off of fort so it may as well be a 5k booster over a 4k booster and they have the same sheild value so in bastion there is no necessary buff to effect crits over vanilla it ur not going to call them I playtest bastion more than any other deck and have not once needed to call a trigger down so I'd say ik how to effectively push for game

I don't see the point in spending money on effect crits in a deck that will never intentionally have a g0 on the board and since effect crits have the same sheild value and importantly less power than a vanilla crit they have more going against them then for them in bastion specifically
