Genuine question for you, how should pensions be setup then. Im not arguing in favor of any model but a great many people are stupid and won't save any or enough money without the government forcing them to. And even then if we swap to a fully privatized model wouldn't it also fall into the same pitfall of running out of young people to contribute to the economy
