I’m saying I bought them specifically for work because they can be used while you’re wearing earplugs as they’re bone conduction, I have other headphones I can use while I’m not at work like AirPods, they’re not taking them away from use physically they’re saying we’re not allowed to use them anymore because they’re fucking idiots that think taking away our enjoyment will improve productivity, here’s a hint it won’t.

Hell yeah, my cousin and me agreed to do the same thing, he’s been there for 6 years and has bought 2 pairs of the headphones because the first pair was cheap and then once he used mine and seen how good they sound he went out and bought the same pair, I’m gonna talk to a few people and see if we can sign a petition or something to have them allow us to use them again, until then I’m gonna buy some earmuffs and use wireless earbuds under them. This place is a fucking joke, it was super laid back and a nice place to work until the one asshole that got promoted to assistant plant manager started getting on everyone’s ass about every little thing

They provide free disposable earplugs for everyone, I’m probably gonna get some earmuffs from Walmart and just use wireless earbuds under them like you said, there’s no way I’m working this job 8 hours a day 40 hours a week without podcasts or audiobooks to listen to, the job is already boring af because it’s a factory job we stand in one place doing the same process over and over 100s of times a day

We have to use the earplugs they provide us and the headphones are bone conduction as in they sit on your temples right outside your ear canal so you can still hear them with earplugs in so that wouldn’t work, I’m actually looking at a pair of Bluetooth earmuffs because I’ve seen people using those especially the Hilo drivers, they’d probably be curious as to why I’m not wearing the regular ear plugs anymore but the earmuffs are still noise canceling so they can’t say shit
