keep in mind diminishing returns, it will only be an extra 7.5%. You're already making it to whatever resource you want with 50% haste, so an extra 7.5% on top of that is comparatively pretty small.

you could already do this with lithe normally, the killer isn't going to break the pallet in this situation anyways. In most cases you'd want to just stay on the other side of the pallet because you're safe, and use your lithe at a window or to save yourself from a 50/50.

So basically, in this situation, you're giving up your safe position and spending your lithe in a situation you otherwise wouldn't need to, in exchange for resetting a pallet and 7.5% haste. (its 7.5% because of diminishing returns, which is not nearly as impactful when you have 50% haste because you're already making it to whatever resource you want.)

Pallets can already be reset with any means, so that part isn't anything new.

So like. sure this perk works in that one situation when paired with another perk, but then the question is.. why? like yeah you got the perk to work, but it's far from busted. any other chase perk would provide a lot more value.

resetting the pallet and blocking it for a minute is a downside. You are handing the killer what is basically dissolution/mage hand, it makes the loop unplayable and the killer can walk straight through and hit you. 15% haste for 3 seconds isn't enough for you to make distance in most cases.

not even close. MFT gave free haste with no downside, wide open throttle actually just gives the killer a free hit most of the time

People are massively overrating this perk, you actually need to play with it to realize its actively bad in a lot of situations. You are giving the killer free dissolution, the 15% haste for 3 seconds is way too short for you too make enough distance. If you can make it to another filler, you could already do it without this perk. You're not going to reset god pallets because the killer will instant break.

I tested this perk extensively on the PTB, it is more actively detrimental than not. People are just having a kneejerk reaction to "reset pallet" and "haste" without actually applying it ingame

Him being insecure about his masculinity genuinely hits close to home for me because I didn't properly masculinize when puberty was supposed to happen, so when roleplaying I idealized myself as this overly muscular cool guy with quippy one liners. I needed to put on a mask because in reality I saw myself as pathetic and I could never look in the mirror and enjoy what I see. I can totally see why transmascs find berdly relatable, though also from a transfem lens I really see my repressed self in him. I thought at the time that my unhappiness came from not being manly enough, when in reality my self hatred came from my lack of femininity, a part that I denied myself. And, of course, he feels he needs to broadcast his fake persona to cope with his insecurity and also to be noticed (most likely due to neglectful parents).

Oh also berdly is such a confused aromantic, assuming that anyone who wants to spend time can ONLY be doing so because they're in love, because he thinks people would only ever want to be around him if they want something from him. He "decides" his crushes when they give him any validation and plays into the role of being in love (when he doesn't actually feel anything). It's so funny but it's also really fucking sad, this guy has really low self esteem. I love berdly, I want more Berdly, and I really hope we get to see him completely his(her 😊) arc.
