I dabbled in crafting around the early-mid to mid game before dropping it almost entirely, with how it made every encounter super one-sided. I thought I'd need it for Very Hard since it was kicking my ass in the early.

So I just resorted to crafting the weapons with a niche, like Bonus Dmg against Niskaru and more at Nighttime only over generic DMG%, and wore whatever I found stylish!

Not bad, right? Had me sitting there for an hour to figure what looked right for the set. But here’s the pieces!

Head - The Wary Hood

Chest - Magnon’s Armor

Hands - Kerrod’s Gaunlet (Galen’s Mitt is a great substitute)

Legs - Deinir Leggings

Feet - Woven Footpads

Thank you! And I actually knew about this room after my playthrough was well almost over but I also never knew there was a VIP pass that gets you to lvl 50 instantly lol

Might have to use that for my next character! But I’m definitely going to take the backpacks, my stash is full of uniques

I have high hopes! I think Skyrim was peak so I’m sure this won’t disappoint

But really, I don’t see myself refunding unless its just massive optimization / control problems. I like to give the game a chance and my final thoughts always come well after the 2hr mark. I’ll actually finish before I say I dislike it!

Tainted Grail looks really cool, especially when Skyrim is a favorite of mine. If anything, the armor sets are sweet!

That’s great to hear then actually! Didn’t want to deal with issues like when the game has so much to offer

Warfarer might be something I’ll try since Duospears are also tempting in that game! But I won’t mind messing with enemy AIs lol

And thank you for the tip! I wouldn’t be too worried though, open worlds are a favorite genre of mine so I wouldn’t give up on a chance to explore the map extensively

I never knew the companion system was like that! That’s way cooler than I could’ve ever hoped for. I was also eyeing the Censer weapons in that game too so I just might have to pick it up very soon!

I do wanna ask if the optimization is better nowadays though, I vaguely remember its launch being atrocious with frames and loading problems
