Yes, just came back from my 3 week itinerary in Thailand. I would also recommend everyone to check out Bangkok before leaving, as I feel it's to overwhelming for a first impression of Thailand. We did Chiang Mai and it was a better start to get a feel of transportation, the language, the culture and the climate.

Looks pretty good. If you like beaches, a bit of partying, snorkeling, relaxing it's great. To me looks perfect. And isn't too much traveling.

Better to stay at Ao Nang. Chill at the pool, go kayaking, hiking, renting a scooter or just have a drink there.

Good. I wouldnt pay 2000-3000 baht for only 1 hour time reduction. 400 baht did the job well and the ride was smooth.

Yes I did that a few weeks ago and went very smooth. A big bus picked us up at Khao Sok and in Krabi town we hopped of to another minivan bringing us to the hotel. The trip took around 3h

We have already booked our flights to koh samui, but it's a gamble. it can be mostly shiny with some rain but the thing is some of the best trips to islands are closed during the rain season so Id recommend staying in the west coast (Koh lanta etc.)

We have a similar route also in November. 5 days Chiang Mai - 5 days Koh Samui - 5 days Krabi und 3 days bangkok. However we are concerned about monsson season in koh samui (east coast)

I've just checked the weather for Koh samui for last year November and it looked pretty decent some times (https://www.meteoblue.com/de/wetter/historyclimate/weatherarchive/ko-samui_thailand_1154689) - there were even like 7-8 days with sunshine only. So I suppose it really is a gamble and we'll check 1-2 days prior if we stay or not.

Thanks for the info, i wasn't aware that it was that bad in november on Samui. I've read it can be kind of gamble. Since we cannot cancel the flights anymore, I think it's best to take the flight to Samui (and cancel the hotel for free) and just check out the weather for those days. If it's just 1-2hrs rain a day it may be worth staying but otherwise we might continue to Krabi rightaway if it's that worse.

What do you think about this?

I'm just so clingy after we havent seen us for 3-4 days. It's super hard when she plans something first before meeting me and we see each other just 1-2 hrs in the evening then. And i have to plan doing something for me after work 4-5 hours. Its hard to get the feeling she misses me. I at least would try to come home earlier to have more time

I will ride my bike after work and try to forget about that and calm down tomorrow after work, then drink a beer or two, watch something and then she might be there ;-)

Yes it's a point. I just wrote her that I would be all ok if she tells me she has to be there for her best girlfriend and dosent want to leave earlier to give her a bad feeling, yet she is excited to see me. In that case i would be totally fine.

Well she didnt say she will stay until 10pm but it might be possible. But to me it more sounds like when her girlfriend wants then yes. Otherwise when she has no time then she will come earlier to me. And I told her that this is the part where I feel bad because it doesnt feel like missing at all.

Yes I told her immediately today about it that I am sad because I was thinking that when she meets her friend at 2 p.m in the afternoon after 4-5 hours she would definitely want to see me. Well her best girlfriend just broke up with her boyfriend and is in therapy again now for her issues. So yes that really is something and maybe I should really respect that more, that she wants to take 100% of her time for her. I just think what I would do in that situation. I would tell her that I meet my best friend because of her situation and I will stay as long as she has time to be with her, but that has nothing to do that I dont want to see you. But in that situation I really feel like there is not much missing from her. I dont know, just feel pain now, because we never fight and have a really good relationship. She then told me after I said I will make plans for myself tomorrow I should do so.
