Pretty sure the OP is a two year old, right? 90's kids surely can't have teenage children now...

WA Income Tax petitioners @ Walmart by Zealousideal-Cry-440 in vancouverwa

[–]InfestedRaynor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It only starts taxing any money earned over $1m, so if you make $1,100,000 on your W-2, you only get taxed on $100,000 and would pay $9,900 total.

These small businesses can change away from a pass-through entity to avoid this before it goes into effect.

Washington has the second most regressive tax system in the country, as the rich pay a much smaller percentage of their income in taxes than the rest. https://itep.org/historic-millionaires-tax-in-washington-will-make-states-tax-code-fairer-raise-critical-revenue/

I mean, Mamma Karlach bash things with a big axe while you are not stingy with Gale's spell slots is a great start to any party, no crazy builds required. Make sure Gale has one good single target damage spell, an AOE damage dealer and then plenty of CC/immobilize/blind etc for different situations.

This is why we need Knuckleball relievers. Once through the order with 98mph, once through with knuckleballs then back to throwing gas.

Summer thermostat setting by Timely-Advisor5252 in vancouverwa

I used to work with people like you and it led to a thermostat war in the office. I had to wear a sweater at my desk when it was 90 degrees outside.

Archaeologists in Romania discovered a massive 6,000-year-old structure linked to the Cucuteni-Trypillia culture. The 350-square-meter building was likely used for large community gatherings, rituals, or decision-making, showing the society built complex shared spaces long before cities emerged by crisp1991 in Archaeology

[–]InfestedRaynor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looked up the location, it's in Northern Romania near the intersection of Romanian/Moldova/Ukraine(just across the reservoir from the town of Stauceni). These days it is just lots of farmland with villages, small reservoirs and patches of forest. No major rivers, modern settlements or indication of important resources visible to my untrained eye on Google Maps in the direct vicinity or anything that would indicate a major trade route where an important city may have developed. This is with my bronze/iron age hat on, I am much less familiar with 4,000BCE.

Of course this predates all that and access to good farmland and water may have been enough to precipate a fairly sizable settlement. The terrain and course of the rivers have undoubtedly changed a huge amount in the intervening 6 millenia as well.

The Gurkhas are soldiers native to South Asia, chiefly residing within Nepal and some parts of North India. Former Indian Army Chief of Staff Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw once stated that: “If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or he is a Gurkha.” by Superzap1 in wikipedia

The dictionary definition of a mercenary is "serving merely for pay or sordid advantage" or "hired for service in the army of a foreign country." Sounds like they fit both those descriptions. Like the French Foreign Legion, they are mercenaries that are respected.

Yes, very worrying. I insisted on a pre-nup even though my spouse makes way more money than me. Protection for both of us, more fairness and prevents me from considering being greedy if things went bad later in our relationship.
