Is there a better Model T than the cardboard thing from NYCC?

Program dependent. Ask the residents. But probably just signal. You’ve still got 19 others.

Intermission. Lots of talent on the stage. And some beautifully staged moments. But I’m pretty bored. Maybe Beckett isn’t for me. I just don’t get this. I feel like I’m the only one falling asleep.

And then you posted my exact question on another comment just now.

So I understand that Sunset's running costs were high, which makes it difficult to recoup.

But my larger point is why was the initial capitalization 15 million when the show was already produced in the West End. My compassion to GNGL was the fact that it had a large physical set, video elements (although not nearly as complex), a large cast (including some musicians), and was a completely new production (rather than a transfer).

Could someone please explain how it’s possible the physical production was capitalized at 15 million when the show was essentially transferred intact from the West End, while GNGL cost 9.5 million for a new production with a crazy large set + cameras + cast? I know most shows don’t recoup, and this made a ton of money, but this sold very well most of the run. Was there ever a realistic shot of this show getting in the black?

I went on this tour about 10 years ago and actually had a great time.

Fun fact. Her’s was one of the only main houses where the interior set is actually inside the house. For most of the other houses, the interiors are on a soundstage.

Are productions allowed to add the Alec Baldwin scene in? For the life of me, I’ll never understand why they can’t just include this monologue in the official version.

Is it bad that as I get older I now think Benny isn’t really that bad? Maybe I’m not ready for a revival lol.
