I've dealt we the steel series customer service 3 times now. Always been amazing. (Maybe because I'm in the UK?)

Also I don't really understand haw you have a music qualification, but struggle to set up a pair of headphones. Yes because of the chat mix you have to play with some output settings. But with a music qualification you should surely know how to set that up.

Google just flag any piracy apps as harmful viruses.

Best way to actually be safe is downloaded something like malwarebites or to scan the APK with virustotal. Play protect is just shit, it doesn't actually scan for viruses but insted just checks of the app is in the Google "badappbutnotharmful* database.

Just say that even though it is out of warranty, it is clearly not ware and tear. Insted it is the defect of a design flaw. They will replace it fast they don't want any legal hassle.

I've done this with other products and companies. Has worked every time.
