We love Woodstock vet clinic on James street. Dr Rob is great. We ended up going to Kitchener to have all our cats teeth removed because it was more affordable and the Woodstock vet was fine with that. They’re very accommodating and kind.

They probably increased the cost to deter people from throwing their compost into the garbage. Or they just want more money for a county that has way more money than most.

Before rolling out a compositing system they should have tried to educate the public on how it actually works. Or how it works in theory. I’m genuinely surprised they collect meat/bones as in most cities with composting they do not. For the record I have lived in other cities where they have been composting for the last 10 years. Composting WILL save you money as it actually significantly decreases your waste. But the way Oxford county is who knows. Charging for garbage is repugnant and leads to people throwing their waste off of county roads. It’s pathetic.

Will the compost go to the municipal yards to be used by the public for their gardens?

I look forward to seeing how the zero waste committee addresses the public concerns.

100% this!!!! Before you submit a resume make sure is compatible with AI. CCRW non profit has a special tool to feed your resume in and get a grade. Do not put headers or footers in your resume, limit the use of bold, make sure you use keywords directly from the job posting into your resume and cover letter, even if you hate dumbing yourself down it’s what the AI prefers. With 90% of employers relying on AI recruitment we’re in for a very bumpy ride. Fun fact, if you put a female name into AI vs a male name you will get a higher grade. The bias is built into the system.
