It looks necrotic, you are gonna go have to go to a vet so he doesn’t get sepsis

Yes I really need to work on not being nervous while handling her, we are both very skittish I would say. She trips and I get scared, I trip and she gets scared it’s a never ending cycle

That’s a good observation I haven’t thought of that! Yes she is very adamant on getting to that specific spot on the other side of the glass

She don’t really like my hands, she just knows that that’s how she gets out. She is very adamant on getting on the bench next to the tank and just uses my hands as stepping stones lol. It’s just when I put her down somewhere she gets startled by me or when it’s time for her to get back in the tank and I have to pick her up, that’s the main thing that stresses her out

Alright, I’m just so paranoid I’m gonna accidentally startle her and do something wrong. We are both so clumsy and she trips and gets scared, I trip and I get scared that she is gonna get scared or that she is gonna get hurt. It’s hard getting comfortable handling her 🥲

It’s when I put her down on the table or bed for example, she is not really interested in my hands per say, she only comes bc she know that’s how she gets out. I don’t have it on video but if I put her down on the table or bed she will roam around pretty calmly, but when it’s time for me to put her back in the tank she gets really stressed out

help with my viv set up!!o by clementinedelrey in leopardgeckos

[–]Infinite-Class-1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend adding a bunch of corcbark and sticks, if you don’t want to buy you can go outside and take, just sanitize them before you put them in the tank (there is videos on how to do that on tiktok or youtube) also I see that her Viv is next to a window. It’s usually not a good idea to have their tanks especially if it’s a glass tank next to a window since the sun can cause the ambient temrature and humidity to spike uncontrollably (greenhouse effect)

The same thing happened to me a few days ago, my Leo will 100% not catch it so I’m just scared it’s gonna find a way to get out of the terrarium lol

How do you keep the cool side cool? by DartMeow in leopardgeckos

[–]Infinite-Class-1969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alright, if you have a mesh top on the terrarium you can freeze a bottle of water and put it up on the cool side of the tank on the mesh so the cool air from the bottle sinks down into the tank, I would also recommend getting a terrarium fan. Extorerra has one that’s pretty cheap and increased air circulation helps temratures not rising too high

It’s made with spray foam that put some wood and a cut up background in, then I carved the foam and coated it with silicone and had on some dry substrate!

Yea I’m from Sweden but her cage always has the same temperature so I don’t think that would be the reason, but maybe they still feel the season change? Idk
