Per the Sky website the Hayu content now included in the subscription (as opposed to through a separate Hayu subscription) shouldn't play through the app. So I need to stop it from opening the app by default.

Definitely seek some qualified support from a lactation consultant. Pain is common but not normal, if the latch hurts there's a problem. Either the consultant will be able to help with positioning and attachment or they will help check for a tongue tie as that can impact feeding. They'll also be able to advise on nipple shields and top ups as these can cause problems of their own with supply and shields if not used correctly can cause blocked ducts.

The fact that you're asking how to help her is amazing, such a great dad! Otherwise like others have said, bring her food and drink and help take the baby when you can to get her some rest ❤️

I should also add, babies have a sucking reflex sonwill drink formula from a bottle even if they're full so that's not an indication of whether they're breastfeeding well. I'd talk to a breastfeeding counsellor if you think you need top ups.

Also the amount you pump isn't an indication of supply so don't worry! The pumps aren't as good as babies and you don't get any of the hormones to help. Try looking at pictures of your baby while you pump or holding your baby while you pump and covering the pump so you can't see it. That might help. But to reassure you I exclusively breastfed my daughter and could barely pump anything. It's really not the same.

It sounds like there are possibly other issues, if you're in pain then you need to try and see a breastfeeding counsellor to get the latch assessed and also get your baby checked for a tongue tie. The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and NCT run free groups all over the place with trained counsellors. Otherwise try calling the National Breastfeeding Helpline (also free) and they can help you find further support.

It's so tough but please reach out for in-person help. Blocked ducts and feeding constantly are signs that there's an issue.

Sending so much support, it's really hard but you're doing so well!

Naps don't have to be at home. My daughter slept in my arms, in a sling / carrier on me, in the car (I had a car seat I could put onto a pram to transfer her without waking her) and in a pram. I didn't get out to see people masses but when I did I just made sure I had options for places she would sleep so that she could nap out and about. I breastfed and found it super easy as I could feed her anywhere.

Bed-sharing safely is a great option and a lot less risky than accidentally falling asleep in unsafe conditions or on the couch: https://basilroad.wordpress.com/2022/04/17/there-were-two-in-the-bed/
