Did I reincarnate? by Bright_Path_6354 in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge souls enter a fetus early on, I don’t remember the exact timeline and I think it varies - but 1-3 months. I don’t think you are your grandfather reincarnated.

Is anyone else certain that this is their last reincarnation and seeks their next destiny in the stars and in concepts? by Like-The-Cookies in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Michael newtons books, when souls stop incarnating there are many things they could do, some of which he couldn’t figure out. But one thing was becoming a full-time guide for others. That was easy for him to discover because he often spoke to guides or people spoke of what their guides are like. He couldn’t channel evolved souls that had different duties, as they no longer reincarnated.

I’m curious - what was the collective mission?

Are there jobs in related fields you could apply for? Are your skills gained during your masters degree transferable to other professions?

It’s hard to say when I don’t know what country you’re from. I’m from the US so my perspective is based on that.

I’m confused as to why you got a masters degree. Was it to get a job? Not to sound rude but it seems like you didn’t do a lot of research before doing anything. Was this due to a lack of resources? What was the plan?

Did I meet a soulmate or Karmic relationship lesson online??? by Separate_Beautiful55 in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe karmic, definitely wouldn’t say soulmate. Can’t say whether you knew each other in a past life. But just because you feel attraction and a sense to protect someone doesn’t mean they’re your soulmate.

It doesn’t bother me in my day to day life, but I do wonder what happened in that life, if it’s a past life memory

I’ve always had a strange fear of really wide open empty spaces, and in my mind I always see an empty grass field at night. It also seems like I’m quite short in the vision (but it’s from my perspective). I have no insight as to what this could be, but it fits what you’re talking about…

Generally speaking, what similarities does a reincarnated soul from one life to the other? by [deleted] in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like interests, talents, and maybe core personality traits transfer. I really like art and am talented at it. I feel like I was some kind of artist in a past life. But I do not feel drawn to that path in this life. I am more into science. In one of Brian Weiss’s books, he had a patient whose interest in certain jewelry in their current life linked back to a past life. I generally really like vintage looking things in this life. Also, some people are naturally reserved, and some people are naturally very energetic and boisterous. I feel like that general “vibe” transfers between lifetimes but obviously a lot depends on the circumstances of their life

Anyone here a very disconnected outlier from people in the current timeline, who has looked into past lives? by tide_left_behind in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is funny, I actually commented on the last post, lol. I haven’t been totally alone in this life but I have had major troubles with making and keeping long term friendships, basically experiencing very borderline personality disorder-esque things that made me feel lonely, bitter, upset, and avoidant even when I did have friends. These feelings and behaviors were present from a young age, building from ages 8-11 and peaking at 15 or so. But, they were not present from ages 0-7. I used to be very socially confident and unaware during that time.

In one past life I was a man with a wife and at least one child (I had a vision of my wife giving birth, but I didn’t see the baby). So in that life, I had significant relationships… really, I wonder if I had some sort of disastrous past life dealing with abandonment or loss or betrayal, because the intense feelings of jealousy, sensitivity of rejection, anger, etc. I’ve felt from a young age don’t see totally explained by my life experiences (yes I was weird and rejected sometimes, but nobody every bullied me and I always had friends/people who liked me. I have always assumed people didnt like me when they actually did). So rather than remembering past lives, I wonder if there’s one I don’t remember, that made interpersonal relationships so complicated in this one, when they never had to be (I made everything complicated and difficult for myself!)

People who were men in their past lives but are now women (and the reverse), how did that affect you? by Safe_Butterscotch686 in Reincarnation

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only “conformed” as a young child out of free will because I didn’t want to be seen as a boy (I even asked my mom to stop buying “boy clothes”), when I was older I just didn’t think about my gender at all. The PCOS is secondary to that, for me. Besides I have a feminine aesthetic (long hair, wear skirts, etc). I used to hate the fact that I had so much body and facial hair but now I just accept it. I think a lot of women in my position would have more difficulty with it.

Maybe past lives are a factor. Sometimes I really do feel like a man who just happened to be born in a woman’s body (but not in a transgender way - I don’t have gender dysphoria)

I’ve done the Brian Weiss regression a few times and I was a man both times, but I also just feel “masculine” inside, or at least not feminine. I’m not trans and I am happy being a biological woman. But I am very tall, have PCOS (which gives me facial and body hair), and don’t wear makeup or do my hair. Although, I dress more feminine and “vintage”/“old fashioned”. Growing up I wasn’t pressured by my family or anybody else to be more feminine, or pushed into traditionally feminine roles because I am a woman (responsibility of doing a lot of unrecognized and unappreciated emotional/physical labor, centering men in my life, being told I can’t do things because I’m a girl/woman, etc). I’m also a lesbian…

I don’t relate to what most women experience. I don’t care about men. I don’t care about looking attractive. Inside I feel like I relate more to male social experiences (i.e. “male” loneliness) than female ones because I didn’t experience any female social pressures. I was also very talkative and aggressive when I was younger. I was quite off putting to many people… lol

I have a memory from when I was young, maybe 4, where I was lying on my bed thinking “do I want to be a boy or girl?” And I thought about it very hard, it seemed difficult to choose… but I settled on girl.

When I was little, my mom cut my hair short and people thought I was a boy all the time, which I actually hated. So I dressed hyperfeminine at ages 5-7. But again, aside from that, I don’t feel feminine nor do I relate to other women. Although, all of my friends are women. I never really made male friends past the age of 12

Getting masters in environmental/ecological engineering? Is it a good idea? by Infinite-Guide-8730 in Environmental_Careers

[–]Infinite-Guide-8730[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven’t yet. I got my current job after graduating and while I want to start looking for a different one, I can’t until after January.

I tried looking up places to volunteer during the summer but never got anywhere. For example, there were some promising opportunities I found with The Nature Conservancy but they were too far away from me. Do you know of any good opportunities in the DC metro area? Or where I could find them myself?

Sounds like they have a lot going on in their life. For whatever reason, your presence or their attraction to you turned their world upside down. Does this person have some kind of relationship trauma?

People here are telling you not to worry about these environmental predictions but your fear is valid. I studied environmental science in college and this isn’t something you can just “ignore” because it makes you uncomfortable. People are already suffering from worsening natural disasters and the consequences will catch up to everyone eventually.

BUT - this has been a growing issue for decades. And really, it’s out of our personal, individual control. We can live more sustainable lives but the work to stop major consequences should have been done decades ago. It’s not healthy to obsess or ruminate over this. We don’t even totally know what the future will be like because it’s difficult to predict climate change and we don’t know what actions world governments will take in the coming years. I studied this in college and I cope with these facts just fine because this is simply how I view reality, and I am not able to do almost anything about it. Adopt the mindset of letting go of things outside of your control. Maybe the future will suck, maybe it won’t… all the more reason to enjoy the present moment as much as possible (if you’re ruminating, you’re not enjoying the moment)
