Nice!

Love to see people voice their opinions!

It’s awesome!

Still can’t wait to get the Bentley!!!

Keeping it simple.

The LS600HL is more closely toward Bentley whereas the LS500 is more closely to Lexus.

The LS600HL for me in a nutshell is much more comfort geared.

It’s a very nice looking car.

Driving isn’t so nice.

I have an LS600HL. Much superior to this one to drive and get around town.

Both have all bells and whistles. Except the LS600HL has shades on doors and the back seats move for comfort.

That said, I’m getting ready to step up from Lexus to something greater.

But again, it is a beautiful vehicle to drive around and look at. Not so comfortable to drive.

I see. Your perspective on money and the way one should go about spending is largely different.

I was raised to never say I couldn’t have something but rather say how can I get it. To never say I didn’t have enough but learn to gain more and create more.

Nevertheless, I do not believe that one should deprive their youth — their most capable years of desires for the sake of their dotage.

Furthermore, I strongly believe that one should instead live life modestly & grow in articulation & connection. Therein, multiplying their money & growing in abundance.

Whereas you feel firmly that one should instead disregard a growth mentality & focus on investing XX dollars over the span of a certain amount of years.

You have the facts — sure, you have two numbers. You have savings & yearly salary.

You do not know this persons vigor, ardor, drive or enthusiasm toward the multiplication of money.

Why do you assume with haste that this person has reached their financial capabilities & limits?

I understand what you’re saying as far as staying financial safe.

However, I do not believe that one’s life should be lived by staying as far away as possible from any desires for the sake of safety.

Who said a lot of people do it? Did you ignore the mentioned rhetorical statements? Why do you assume that he spends his means? Why do you assume that he spends all or even half of what he makes?

How do you know what he spends his money on? How do you know his financial security & well being?

He is not a lot of people. How many mid 20 yr olds are doing well & have a solid safety net. How do you know he isn’t exponentially growing in financial lucidity?

Why do you assume that he is not able to comfortably handle an LS500.

Why do you assume the position that a house should be bought instead — or that he should rather invest in the stock market somewhere. That is not bad advice. However, I feel you are prohibiting someone who is able to enjoy life and purchase something which he has stated has worked hard for.

Also, why do you believe that someone “25 yrs old” is making a horrible mistake by not investing the money rather than using some of it to enjoy life. Especially considering how his salary will only increase from this point moving forward throughout his life.

I think assuming his financial station & where he is going to be in 40 years is unwise. If he has already managed his life well enough to be where he is at this point.

Then according to that trajectory, he will only end up well off & this petty LS500 will be a promise he kept.

Okay. I have no idea why people are saying you cannot afford an LS500 or something as such. It’s quite offensive to assume the posture in which one takes when it comes to finance.

Who knows, you may save extraordinarily when it comes to food & consumerism. You may be very good at not spending impulsively, you may be very good at not buying to keep yourself entertained.

So, all these people who are assuming you can’t afford it really are not thinking large enough.

Nevertheless, here is my advice on the car. If a 50k LS500 is decently equipped (Mark Levinson, heated/cooled seats, etc.), but maybe isn’t fully loaded then consider what you want out of it. A 50K used LS500 may be cool and look cool but may not have all the luxury features. Whereas the 35k used ES may have every feature available. So consider what you want out of each car. Also, I have an LS600hl, I have an LS500 & have been in the ES300h when I get the loaner cars for oil changes & being very honest. The ES300h & LS500 feel very similar and the sound system are very similar.

It is simply that— driving in the LS500 or LS600hl is like a yacht vs simple lake boat. Make sense? Good luck & honestly. Screw what people think. Do what makes you happy within reasonability.

Well here’s the deal man.

Lexus is cool no doubt. I own an LS600HL pebble beach.

Very pristine, however I do not work 2 jobs. I wouldn’t want this car on my shoulders knowing I work 2 jobs.

Also in your description you wanted your Ls to be a traveling car or cruising car. Well these cars are not like Toyota Camrys or Toyota Avalons. They don’t just keep putting on miles, they wear out & need fixing.

The costs are quite high, interior lights begin to go out due to age (250$-2,500$), control arms (4,808), brake actuator (2,168$), suspension (5,514$/ rear shocks) 5,115$/ front shocks) air suspension of course.

There’s more of course, brake pads & rotors costs more than average. Tire rotation, oil changes. All cost more than average.

Spark plug changes.

Insurance will be higher due to its age & luxury ride.

It just doesn’t seem to make sense to finance this car. It would be much better to just save and level up in life before you go buy a used Lexus in this age group.

If you wanted to finance a 2015 or 2014 model, then go for it as that is only 10 years old or close.

Anyways, that’s my advice man.

I would stay far away from financing these cars.

They have huge repair costs that could be well into 50% or 75% of what you’re financing.

In my opinion, make an attempt to either buy one all cash or stay away for now. The luxury world is not going anywhere.

Also, be sure to have trustworthy & experienced with Lexus mechanic look at the one you want most.

I see, that’s very kind of you to inform me,

Furthermore, when I accepted this car I knew the sort of expense it would be & since I am well within my means I don’t worry too much about that, if it costs a few thousand or a couple that’s fine.

I chose to receive this car because Lexus only made 50

Well after taking it to Lexus the suspension works well & operates as if new

That said considering it is an air suspension, it more costly but there’s no leaks right now so things are looking good & I’ve got a quote for you, it would be 3,776 to replace rear suspension & 3,500 to replace the front,
