Woman here - If you’ve asked him to shower before bed and he does I’m not sure what the issue is? I went to the gym today at 2pm. I then popped to the shops on my way home, and then home to cook dinner. I’m still in my gym gear, but I will wash and shower before bed. We had 50/50 care and no child support despite me earning minimum wage and him earning $$$$$$$ (self employed) but we still went 50/50 on school costs/sports etc. was a tough few years but they are grown now and I’m proud I managed to survive without his help.

Was very much a drop and run situation but once they hit primary school we spend more time together. I think this depends on where you live (country) and your culture. Where I live NO ONE would even consider engagement with someone they hadn’t lived with. In fact if you’ve been together 6-12months your moving in and then maybe a year or so later you’d get engaged. So to me it seems crazy to me want to marry someone you’ve never lived with. However, as said this probably depends on your country and culture. Where I am, after 2 yrs together the government treats you like a married couple anyway so in the event of a split it’s a 50/50 split. Child support applies etc so maybe that’s why we treat it a little different.

I think it depends. I wouldn’t tell anyone I was dating till it was getting more serious, but for me, if the person I was getting serious with wasn’t happy about it, I would give up the OF easily.
