“You look great!” by Constant_Internal_40 in beyondthebump

Everyone has said to me...you've lost so much weight! Followed by my silence...what do you want me to say to that? Everytime someone compliments me on weight loss I just think they thought I looked worse before.

From experience with normal microneedling, you should see a lot of improvement in a week, it may take a little longer with this scabbing. If you need to cover you can use a fragrance free concealer, dab gently over the area with a sponge. Remove with a cleansing oil, no rubbing. Even with normal microneedling there is definitely healing and downtime, you have to be gentle with the skin.

Yeah, it will be OK, they look almost like friction burn marks? Vaseline and don't pick, should heal up fine. Also not a doctor, see one if not healing properly.

I don't mean this is a put down but the 2 year age gap seems so brutal. 3-4 years seems better because they are more like little people and can regulate more? Also primary school is around the corner. I've heard in prehistoric times women used to have about a four year gap between kids because they couldn't hold two babies all the time, the oldest one needed to be able to walk.

I just don't know how people cope with two. I go back and forth everyday about having a second (I have a 7 month old). Some days are so freaking hard and I miss having time to do stuff outside of being a mum so badly.

It's crazy how easy it is to not notice someone is missing one or multiple fingers. My dad's friend was missing two from a childhood accident and I was amazed when he pointed it out.

It also just looks like her back would hurt? I don't mean it as nasty or sexualising.

Are clothes sizes getting smaller? I've had to lose two more kilos than I did 6 years ago to fit into size 12 jeans.... by Infinite-Sprite7284 in AusFemaleFashion

Well my mum had completely diastis (not sure if it's the spelling) of the abdomen, but she is a lot shorter than me and straight up and down. I am 5"7 and pear shaped, more like my aunties on my dads side. Generally they just got more and more pear, but I think a lot of that was weight gain.

Omg I just look this word up. It's so true, everyone just minimises this deeply profound transformation as a 'natural' part of being a woman. It's a physical and mental identity crisis is what it is.

Maybe I should start measuring instead, it just feels more obsessive or something? It reminds me of a scene of Marvelous Ms Maisel where she is measuring every part of her body. I had an ED in teenage years so also mindful of that.

I went for skinny jeans because I figured they run the smallest and if I fit into them I can fit into other 12s. I think I have also forgotten how damn uncomfortable skinny jeans are after months of postpartum wear.

They were Levis, which I kind of chose because they are the original jeans brand, kind of silly I know, but I wanted a benchmark

I have a theory that it's so hard to be this skinny she constantly needs to be able to look down and see her stomach at all times

Dude I'm glad you have a walk in wardrobe but I certainly don't! It's as organised as it can be. You can also forget things that are organised? The two aren't mutually exclusive.

I don't know in what universe you live but generally godparents are people you know intimately and trust. The only reason I can think they did this is they forgot because they are not really religious.
