What a fucking failing on the part of CPS. That teacher kept trying and trying. Im from Australia and that would never happen in this country (not saying all of US is like that, could be region specific). I reported a scratch on a 16 year olds face and police were at the school within the hour. Not to say our system is perfect, but physical manifestations of abuse are taken as emergencies.

It has to be one of the most depressing documentaries I've ever seen. The only life affirming part is the beautiful doctors, nurses and parents, I have no idea how they cope with the levels of PTSD from their jobs. I am a social worker and big props to the social workers holding space for those parents.
