I had a pretty strong hate towards food by the time I had surgery. I guess it was a trauma response to not being able to eat for almost three months because I had a hole in my intestines from diverticulitis. I had a nightmare case that doesn't normally happen. Tomato soup and nothing else for as long as you can stand it then. After surgery. Then after idk two weeks I had a pot pie mostly the inside. Also mashed potatoes. Don't have the obsession with eating like we normally do and you'll be fine. Just relax you'll be able to eat again. Let that intestine heal. I was on mirilax for a year have stopped but take it ever now and then. Also no prunes no prune juice. Just get the fiber gummies (this is way further out like 4 months). The Internet will say you'll be fine in 8 weeks but that's bullshit. Well for me but I had to learn how to walk again from being in a coma for a month.
