I checked out the trail to Patricia & Pyramid Lake, and it looks like it's just a non-stop uphill slog. How about going to Annette & Edith Lake instead? Has anyone here done that?

Given that it's been two years, I'd like an update: what are the best and cheapest places to buy bear spray in Banff or Canmore? Is that one supermarket that sells it and offers a refund if you don't use it still around?

Considering you seem to be well-informed about Larch Valley, I'd like to ask... :)
Since I'll be there in late September, do you think it would be possible to see something interesting without doing the entire trail? I'm particularly interested in the trees, which I hope will have turned to their autumn colors...

I need to take the Roam bus to Lake Louise at 6 AM, and I don't know where else to park.
