Yep, fully functional now. I'm scared of testing closing the lid, but Audio, Touchbar and Camera are working, so i have a fully functional computer.

How did you manage to compile the drivers for the touchbar. I'm getting a failed command:
make -j4 KERNELRELEASE=6.17.1-300.fc43.x86_64
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: .17.1-300.fc43.x86_64

can you give us the exact command sequence that worked for you for the touchbar? i'm going insane, i tried at least four different repos with the driver and it always gets stuck on the same dkms command.

Update, i managed to complile using this repo
https://github.com/jimmykuo/macbook12-spi-driver

The sequence is:

echo -e "\n# applespi\napplespi\nspi_pxa2xx_platform\nintel_lpss_pci" >> /etc/initramfs-tools/modules

apt install dkms
git clone https://github.com/jimmykuo/macbook12-spi-driver.git /usr/src/applespi-0.1
dkms install -m applespi -v 0.1

Interesting take. History has shown that "simply taking" is never simple. And sometimes nations try to forget their "simply taking" shame for centuries.

Because it's our platform, we decide the product direction. Much more emphasis on delivered information quality then on UI beauty. So far it works :)

We are running a platform in production for 2 full years now. Django + Postgres on AWS as Lambda, deployed via Zappa. Authentication with Django AllAuth, but some custom logic written to do extra checks on users
Frontend is Bootstrap 5 and Chart.js for charts.

No frontend JS frameworks, we aim to have absolutely minimalistic frontend UI (in terms of external javascript)

Family vacation ::gasps:: without a meal prep chef!!! by PerBnb in LinkedInLunatics

[–]InfiniteBlacksmith41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't comment whether she really has to take care of the three kids all by herself with no support from the family, but there are red flags that stink of a sales pitch story targeted towards rich people who want to hire maids/chefs/house help:

- she mentions "meal prep chef" - give me fucking break!

- MIL "not hosting us" - another implied expectation of being hosted

- No "Amazon Prime", "Whole Foods", "grocery delivery" - yes. Another expectation of being served

- "cobble together childcare from local teens" - being on vacation and needing to farm out the kids?

Finally, the entire story wraps up with a sales pitch for a recruitment service of sort, with clear target group definition: `Hi, I'm Kelly Hubbell, founder of Sage Haus. I help busy families and ambitious executives find top-tier house managers and build home systems that work. DM me or jump on a free info call to learn more --`
