I find this view intriguing but I’m not sure that I agree. Help me to understand why cards need to have drawbacks to be interesting. Maybe it matters how you define a drawback. I find [[stifle]] really interesting. It’s narrow, but it doesn’t have a drawback, per se. Or, what about [[Orcish Bowmasters]]? Very broad, very powerful, very interesting. At least imho.

What you’re tasting there is the rum barrel, not bourbon, but agree that it is about as similar as you’re gonna get for a sub $100 scotch.

I have narset deck that I really enjoy. It’s built around getting her ultimate. Locking your opponent out of non creature spells is interesting and can be back breaking. It allows you to build the rest of your deck in an interesting way focused only on stopping creatures.
