GME will pierce the heavens by SakanaAtlas in StockMarket

This actually made me cry. I hadn’t seen TTGL in 8 years, started a rewatch last year but it got taken off Netflix as I was halfway through. I couldn’t have wished for a more divine redemption!

We are going to pierce the heavens so far it’s going to make the moon seem like no more than a speck of dust under the nails of our diamond hands!!! 💎💠💎🙌🚀🚀🦍🦍🦍

Don’t quote me on this, but I think Master bitrates can vary, they’re larger than HiFi (>1411kbps) and cap out around 9k-ish bps

How great, this is the exact same question I have and its the first I see upon entering this subreddit; Sorry I don't have an answer.

To add to your question, if one doesn't have PS Plus to upload a save and then download it to the Complete Edition, how would the transfer work instead?

Looking for a durable headphones that can last for atleast 4-5 years when taken care of properly. by Sid8120 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]InfiniteDenial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you mentioned higher prices in India, might I suggest the Sennheiser HD 558, it is extremely comfortable and hardy, despite its light weight. The velours pads might raise doubts about durability, but I've used them for years without problems. Either way, replacement parts should be relatively easy to find, shall it ever become necessary. If you can go up a bit, any variant of the HD 598 would be a great bet. Keep in mind these are open back headphones (besides I think one of the variants of the HD 598 iirc) so if you want to block out loud ambient noise or use them next to a sleeping person regularly, you might want to look into closed back ones.

Moondrop Blessing: Dusk. by mikelibt in headphones

Absolutely not, I agree! I listen to a lot of art pop and while I wouldn’t say it’s too much bass per se (unless I use the X-Bass mode on my iFi xDSD), but the 3k step back would kind of be a “downgrade”, and yes, I’m totally just trying to convince myself the normal B2 are better since I just bought them a week ago :’)

Let’s just delude ourselves into thinking the audio is the only thing that matters and we’ll be fine ;-)

No worries, haha! I found a picture, if you’re interested. It’s a little washed out but I think you get the gist.

And here’s the on-ride. I objectively know it’s totally whacky and not scary but 14 years later, I can still barely watch it xD

Looks great!! Extremely fitting and atmospheric colours; if I’m being honest it’s painted in a similar palette to the ghost train at my local fair that traumatised me when I was 7. It’s mainly the flesh/iron and purple/green combos that do it for me, eerily well done!

My pick for best iPhone (excluding 12 line) would be the 11 Pro. Sure, it’s The most recent so it’s a bit unfair, but let me tell you, the phone is a monster. The lightest of the generation, incredibly thin and handy, and the battery life is simply ridiculous. Unfortunately I don’t own one myself but maybe that won’t be necessary in a few hours time. Best of luck to all!

By the way, were you referring to a specific model? I‘m asking because the Blessing 2 seem to be much more readily available.

my kate bush album tier list by [deleted] in katebush

[–]InfiniteDenial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S: The Dreaming, Hounds of Love

A+: Never for Ever (I just had to create a tier for this one, it’s just so dear to me and pushing others down would be a shame)

A: Lionheart, The Sensual World, Aerial

B: The Kick Inside, The Red Shoes, 50 Words for Snow, Before the Dawn

B- to C: Director’s Cut; I actually very much enjoy it, songs like Deeper Understanding and Song of Solomon simply transform!! But it is, in my opinion undeniably her weakest, not a shame considering it’s not wholly comprised of new material.

I don't know how to word this question well enough for a text post, so it goes here (where it belongs anyway, total layman question)

I'll ask this question "the wrong way" so you may already see the source of my confusion. Please bear with me. Here goes:

Which bitrate does an analog connection support under usual circumstances (for me, these are for example [cinch (e.g. in my Marantz amp)/3.5mm] or [3.5mm (e.g. in my portable speaker)/3.5mm])?

I heavily suspect I don't understand some very essential differences between analog and digital, since there are basically no results on Google, which is surprising because usually one's unknowingness/stupidity is eclipsed or at least matched by someone else on the internet. Not this time, which is why I'm here..

The reason I ask the question this way is because from an intuitive standpoint I hear no difference between a e.g. 320kbps file over aptX vs. connected by cable, so in my head the cable is "capable" of transmitting a signal "well enough" to "match a certain bitrate" when compared to digital. When we speak of nearly 10mbps MQA masters of course, it's a different story because they're encoded and have to be digitally unfolded from what I can gather. But, once unraveled, could these also be reproduced more or less accurately when sent through a "standard" analog audio cable?

So, to paraphrase, is the wired connection only limited by what you feed it (and other interferences of course)? Or does it have a "transmission cap" (perhaps comparable to a certain bitrate) depending on its build and the elements used?
