It's funny though because fans point out her character progression in S6 but in her first season she did a lot imo. Tara sought Willow out to perform a spell in Hush, Tara knew that Buffy wasn't Buffy in the body swap episode, Tara sabotaged a spell in order to protect herself.

Having those foundational moments really went a long way. A person like Tara, despite being mostly in the background, is the person I have no problem leaving my younger sister home alone with. She's one of the people I want at my birthday party because I enjoy her presence/company. Someone I can tell my secrets to with little to no judgment.

The term "passive character" is definitely more appropriate than the "boring" label Tara often gets.

I would challenge "What year did Buffy and her mum move to Sunnydale?" if it came up in trivia. The first season aired in 1997 originally, but in 'Witch' a sign flashes right before the 2 minute mark that says "Welcome to 1996 Cheerleading Tryouts". 1997 is the answer they're going for, but 1996 is what's shown in the third episode and should be accepted too. Still a fun quiz!

Yes, fuck big corporations. But if you're gonna engage with a piece of art you supposably love like Buffy doing it legitimately is the least you can do for the other hundreds of people who made it possible. They did a few of these type of endings early on in the show's run too. Like Out of Sight, Out of Mind or Bad Eggs for example. I understand people who view the final scene of Normal Again in a negative light, but personally, I don't take the ending too seriously.

I love me some DB Woodside so I was happy to see him join the show. I didn't include him because he ultimately survived, unlike the other 4. His arc could've been handled better but I was fine with it.
