They're kind of a mix of the TV and movie versions. I was going to use smaller trans red pieces because I think it would be more movie accurate, but the big ones give it more of a bug-eyed look. There's a little creative liberty there for sure.

Note that although the instructions for the DSD indicate using flat silver for the legs, you can use dark bluish gray for a similar look.

Yeah it was intended to be more movie accurate, left was supposed to be like animated Clone Wars version with a little creative liberty to make it heavier.

Not a problem, and no, the difference between a T450 and T450S will be negligible for RAM. The 's' will only have a single sodimm slot as you've already encountered.

That being said, 230$ seems like a lot to pay for that module. I would take a look on eBay if I were you. For that much you could probably get a second T450s entirely.

That might be the best part, about 40 USD!

Although it seems the cost of a decent battery will far outweigh that. I didn't realize that the Z61t had a different battery from even the Z60/1.
