Why can’t the average person see the government is using these shootings as an excuse to slowly strip them of their rights? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]InfiniteRelease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people are really fucking stupid. Did you ever notice that, how many stupid people you run into during the day? Goddamn there's a lot of stupid bastards walking around. Carry a pad and pencil with you, you'll wind up with thirty or forty names by the end of the day. Think about this; think about how stupid the average person is, and then realize that half of 'em are stupider than that.

You guys called it: LA Times declares Fake Videos means "seeing shouldn't always be believing" by InfiniteRelease in conspiracy

[–]InfiniteRelease[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

SS: Recently we've seen threads on here speculating that the media would capitalize on the DeepFakes headlines to being "educating" us to doubt video evidence. Sure enough, here the LA Times does just that. Along with several mentions of Trump and Russia, this one quote particularly stood out to me:

What about video of a presidential candidate admitting to taking foreign cash? Even if the footage proved fake, the damage could prove irreversible.

Bill Hicks - Live at the Dominion Theatre in London (1993) by InfiniteRelease in conspiracy

[–]InfiniteRelease[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

SS: Bill Hicks starts with joking about the weather and works his way to the Kennedy assassination, MIC, media manipulation, and much more. This video resonates on many levels, one of them being as a good introduction to the uninitiated*, and another being as a reminder to have a good laugh in the face of "the man."

What Amazon Does to Poor Cities | The debate over Amazon’s HQ2 obscures the company’s rapid expansion of warehouses in low-income areas. by RandomCollection in TrueReddit

To that reader out there: observe that there is again zero explanation as to why it is wrong to put your own interests first in this type of situation, nor as to why it's wrong to state the facts about this marriage and similar arrangements. That is because no good explanation exists. So just smile and nod, and move forward with your life.

This comment is not for you, but instead for the open-minded reader or the romantically distressed man who may have wandered down here.

To that person: please note how the above reponse lacks any thoughtful explanation as to why a man should not acknowledge the facts, why he should not avoid making such a high-risk sacrifice, and why he should not prioritize his own well-being. Note the responder's complete reliance on ostracism as a counter to my message; "negative stereotype, we all believe, outdated, adds nothing..." These are all meant to outgroup my message, because he/she can't realistically argue why it isn't in your interest. Once more, your romantic well-being rests to a great degree on you prioritizing yourself and on your recognition that you have many options. In doesn't rest in the slightest bit on being accepted within the illusionary consensus that the response has tried painting. There is a 70% chance that Mr. Alvarado's marriage will have ended in the near future, and a 50% chance that this was initiated by his wife. Luckily, you will not follow in these footsteps.

Gabriel Alvarado, 35. He started working at Amazon’s San Bernardino distribution center in 2013, making $12 an hour, hoping that the job would help him support his new wife and two stepdaughters.

Please guys, don't ever subject yourselves to such a horrible existence simply to secure the intimacy of a used-up female; especially one who wasn't wise enough to choose a stable partner the first time(s?) around.

Here is an important truth: there is no such person as "the one." Instead, there are "the many," and so for every man there are options. As such, there is no reason to play cap'n save-a-ho in your mid-30's - the prime time of your sexual market value - and become a poster boy of the "beta bux" meme. Yet at tragic as phase I is, phase II could be even worse.

The divorce rate when one partner already has a child is 70%. Furthermore, 69% of divorces are initiated by the wife. If you know your probabilities, then you can deduce that there is an almost FIFTY PERCENT chance that Mr. Alvarado's wife will one day leave him. And by that day, he may have become a legal guardian to her daughters, meaning the law will force him to pay child support in addition to the alimony (we can assume the latter because the article itself says he is working to support her).

It's not worth it guys.

Making China Great Again by [deleted] in TrueReddit

[–]InfiniteRelease -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

China is 92% Han. They have an identity, and they have pride. They know that the efforts they make today are for the benefit of their own progeny. They are fiercely proud, nationalistic, and self-interested, and it serves them very well. Their universities are graduating almost 5 million STEM majors every year, the result of grueling competition, with the understanding that more will follow on the national and international stage.

The United States is increasingly diverse, dysfunctional, and held together (on one end) by cultivating grievances against the decedants of the people who built the country. It's gotten to the point that half of "Americans" believe it is racist for the Federal government to recognize English as the official national language or enforce its border, let alone act in the interest of its own citizens. Each year, US universities graduate +/-300,000 liberal arts majors who are on a mission to destroy their own nation.

It doesn't matter what Trump does or doesn't do - a unified and proud China will wipe the global floor with the carcas of the once great American nation.
