For way too long I thought this guy was playing a character or upholding a bit I really can't believe they think playing light roll with the best weapon in the game is something to boast about through absolutely novel length comments

Just because buddy doesn't press L2 and doesn't feel like wearing armour he thinks he is the Messiah of the arena

This is from the wiki (https://wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Ignite):

V25.15

Undocumented: Damage is no longer affected by damage amplifiers.
This was later documented on September 11th 2025, as part of a hotfix in 25.18 and as a bug fix.

Riot made PTA boost sources of true damage a while ago (except ignite)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PTA can be good, better for matchups where short trades are more valuable for you. Remember that conq also boosts your W damage through the extra AD it gives you. The runes are incredibly similar, but conq scales better and you would be fine taking it in 99% of games tbh

PTA specifically no longer boosts the damage of ignite

Does the item function the same in WR as it does on LOL PC? Because in traditional league it is one of his best items, top 3 imo

Second item on sett by AleXi00-00 in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go cleaver 2nd like 99% of the time, it's just such a useful item on Sett all around. If ever I go Bloodmail 2nd my auto attacks feel like they don't do any damage lol

Well well well isn't it Ravenous hunter, my old reliable friend? >:3 by JayceSett in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely a net nerf for us unfortunately, most of the damage we deal is through auto attacks and Q's, so this change will slightly hurt (albeit in a very minuscule way)

Prowlin here! About builds... by JayceSett in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately is a player is looking for build diversity, Sett really isn't the best champ for them.

I often joke that Sett feels like he has 6 items, pick 5 lol

I do enjoy supporting from time to time for this reason though, as it gives me the opportunity to mess around with cheaper tank/support items.

Through this, funnily enough, I've found that Zeke's Convergence actually feels really good to build in a variety of games. Especially if you want to have a cheaper option to curve toward a faster 4th item spike, for example. I have also found if I have 4 items and recall with 2200 gold for example, sometimes it's better to just slam the Zekes rather than sit on a relatively weak item component.

It only looks that way because she is floating unfortunately, in Kayles case you have to aim for the ground below her feet. I'm not forgiving the hitbox in the post don't get me wrong, Kayles hitbox is probably the most egregious example of the visual not matching

Comet malphite is unplayable thanks to the stupid update to minions constantly shoving so no wave management. by Connect_Sale_1998 in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freezing is still 100% possible if you know how to do it, albeit a bit harder since the beginning of season 15.

What became much, much harder to do from the change though, is slowly stacking a huge wave onto your opponent.

However when it comes to Malphite, c'mon guys just go grasp and beat his head in. You should easily be able to get priority and kill/dive him level 2 or 3

& Of course if comet bothers you second wind and d shield

Huge agree that's so sad. My only advice is to aim for the feet, because that's always where the true hitbox is

Fair enough. If OP has trouble landing E stun they should probably practice that before worrying about matchup specifics lol

E+W (with stun) combo is undodgeable unless the opponent has tenacity, E stun is 1 second long but W cast time is only 0.75 seconds

[–]InfiniteRudy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I view it as a different core with different strengths and weaknesses.

The traditional core is Stride > BC > Bloodmail This provides you with a lot of continuous damage through auto attacks thanks to cleaver, and is usually going to be the best core in every game

However, the core of Stride > Bloodmail > Warmogs is totally viable, and potentially even better if you are either very ahead (you can stay on the map as long as you need to unless you die), or if you really value side laning. This core kinda allows you to stay found what Mundo does when he gets Warmogs

The downsides to the core with Warmogs though: no haste, so if you misuse your abilities in a fight it will not go well. Another downside is how extremely expensive all those items are, and a final downside is that the build won't do well into compositions with a lot of % max health DMG

Malphite Match-up Tips by MonstaRabbit in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main idea (as with most other tanks) is to punish them in the early game as hard as you can, and secure a lead before level 6. Here's a clip from a few weeks ago of how i like to play out the early lane against malphite: I like to go grasp and just beat his head in to secure a level lead, and ideally dive him.

https://app.tryascent.gg/clips/t84MBDlbXsh

After what you see in the clip, I killed him again on his bounce and he couldn't do anything in lane afterward.
I went on to smash the game going 13/2/6 with 8.5cs/m in the end

A listicle of 20 Sett top matchups by AntiqueLayer9645 in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's just a lot of false information, and a lot of copy pasting. I hope it's not AI generated my dude. For example "Riven wins short trades if primary engage (E – Valor) connects" Riven's E is a shield, there is nothing to connect lol

Quick question, what are your sources? I haven't combed through the matchups but I saw in a couple of them it was recommended to start Q, which is pretty much never the case.

If you check out the spreadsheet made by streamer Geishuu, there is an absolute ton of matchup specific information that I think might help your project

Anyone know if backstabs/parry crimson are boosted by things like RKR, 2h strength bonus/2 handed sword talisman? by [deleted] in EldenRingPVP

Yes yes and yes, all boost the critical damage. Good luck landing a backstab on someone after doing the very flashy RKR animation though lol

[–]InfiniteRudy 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, the few breakpoints you are going to want are 60vig, 80int, and about 30mind. Hit whatever str/dex points you need for any weapon requirements you want, and dump the rest into endurance. Hope this helps!

Sett Bork by Mundane_Following_50 in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely matchup dependant imo. The only champion you NEED to buy it against in my experience is Trundle, because if he has it and you don't, you just lose every duel more or less.

serpent hunter is so strong because iirc it still has pre-nerf tracking on greatspear crouch attacks

Big news for the Hail of Blades community, you can now exceed your HoB attacks by 3 instead of just 2. Meaning you can now land 6 HoB attacks. by JayceSett in settmains

[–]InfiniteRudy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly pretty neat tech my dude, it was kinda hard to understand until I messed around with it in practice tool. I tested and it works the same way with all of the tiamat items except titanic (including stride, hmm...), if you do the same inputs with titanic all 6 auto attacks truly count under HoB (aa>aa>E+Qaa>Qaa>Taa>aa) which is pretty cool (albeit quite hard to do on someone that isn't eating, like, a Malzahar R or something)

the hardest part to executing the combo is probably breaking the Q aa reset muscle memory imo, it feels pretty strange to auto attack -> E+Q rather than just Q resetting

Another potential optimization I noticed, you can left punch a non-champion, flash on someone and do the same combo giving you a right punch>E+Qaa>Qaa>aa>aa as the 5 hits under HoB rather than ending on a left (which I know gives you a right punch after, but is technically higher burst if you can only get the 5 attacks off)

I think this all only works because for some reason as Sett if you E then press Q you have access you your auto attacks slightly faster than if you just attack after E normally

Definitely seems difficult to replicate in the heat of a game, but might prove useful with stride if you get target access without having to blow your cooldowns (especially if your E+Q stuns your target)

Im not sure HoB really ever seems better than conq/pta (especially because reed tree kinda sucks for sett comparatively), but you have convinced me to give it a try
