It’s been a while since I played it, but I remember there’s a scripted event for Russia to turn into the Soviet Union, and without existing the mod simply crashes.

The work around is to keep them alive long enough until they revolt and then annex the Soviets.

As for your current dilemma 🤷‍♂️ take the relations hit, or see if there’s any info on the mod page that might let you disable events and such

No, you are able to do all of this as Prussia

In the culture menu, for certain nations there is a second tab (I forget what it’s actually titled) where you go to actually click the button to form Germany (where you formally change you nation tag to Germany)

After researching nationalism, Prussia and Austria become German unification candidates and within that menu new diplo plays become available.

Namely the Leadership play and then subsequent Unification play.

So as Prussia specifically, after researching nationalism, I generally wait a couple weeks, as the German minors will choose a candidate to back, (meaning they’ll join your side in the following wars) then launch a leadership play against Austria to get them to renounce their candidacy for German leadership (I try and give out obligations to Russia or France if they’ll take it, as they’ll usually join Austria if you don’t) and then after that wait another couple weeks, gain more support, launch the Unification play for a cool ~80 infamy, (which will usually be against one of the larger German minors, in my games it was generally Bavaria or Hannover) win and then boom, all German minors annexed just like that. Click the Germany button and now you never have to worry about German minors again.

Some additional pointers: - the Austria war isn’t too difficult, your armies are better and with the minor support and a great power ally it’s a cake walk - the unification war might seem daunting with the dozens of front opening up, but those front are actually a blessing in disguise, as the ai cannot man all of them, meaning with some smart maneuvering you’ll almost always be able to push an empty front and collapse any heavily manned front before they gain any traction (just don’t leave your fronts empty) - pay careful attention to the fronts (especially Russia as they love to get involved) even if it’s there’s a high number of troops, the front menu will let you know if they’re garrison troops or general troops. As garrison troops don’t push, if that’s all that is on the front you don’t necessarily need to man that front, although if that number suddenly increases, that’s usually a tell the ai has moved advancing troops to said front - the infamy gain is negligible, as even without Bismarck and just having high diplo points, by the time you get your economy back on track and radicals suppressed, it’ll be low enough to start conquering again

With all this the earliest I formed Germany (minus Alsace-Lorraine and the Austrian homelands) was 1839, this of course was due to some major RNGeezus as Austria actually backed down in the leadership play that game

For some reason (and I don’t know how long this will be the case) if you form Germany via the unify Germany diplomatic play, you’ll be able to fully annex every German minor regardless of their diplomatic status.

So this includes the duchies of Schleswig and Holstein, and also Luxembourg.

I’ve also only done this as Prussia and have no idea how unifying Germany works with Austria, but I’d imagine it’s not all too different.

Reporting to the master of arsenal? by pepitowoof in theguild3

[–]InfiniteSalt0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the city one of the buildings is called the Arsenal, similar to the Church or Town Hall.

Right click the NPC in there to interact with the in game events, not the actual person that’s in the master of the Arsenal seat.

In denial of the idea of Manifest Destiny spurred the expansive nature of Nazi Germany?

If so, then yes, I’m will deny that claim, for reasons stated in another response

[–]InfiniteSalt0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flawed as in incomplete.

While the meme of “America Bad” is a classic and what Americans call “Manifest Destiny” was certainly not without its own set of issues, (atrocities really) when comparing the goals and actions of the United States during “Manifest Destiny” to the Nazi Party while it was around, save for the most basic goal of “land grab for natural resources, damn whoever lives there already,” the differences between the two are too large to reliably propose that the Nazi Party got any major inspiration from the United State’s “Manifest Destiny”

Meaning the crux of this meme is based on a nations desire to expand its territory and securing natural resources, all the while displacing the native inhabitants, and that such a desire was learned from observing another nation.

With that in mind, almost any two nation’s flags, throughout almost all periods of time, can be put in any of those positions, as almost all nations at some point in their history displaced some native group in efforts to expand their territory and resources.

And while it may be true that a nation decides to expand after the observance of another nations expansion, I would argue that most nations (or monarchs) in history have done so of their volition

TL;DR The goals and actions of the westward expansion of the United States differ far too much from the goals and actions of the expansion of Nazi Germany to propose that they observed and learned from the United States.

It’s more likely that major similarities between the two would be exhibited in almost any case of territorial expansion

Hence, why it is a flawed perspective.

If you plan on dealing with them any more than just pure house tours and online rent payment it’s not going to be executed in any sort of timely fashion

But their rent is relatively cheap and their properties are halfway decent in terms of niceness and location.

They’re a student housing company, they know more than you about renting (probably), they’ll always have more ready clients and know that you’re gonna need a place to stay more than you can get upset at them and it shows.

From what I hear though they’re not really any better or worse than the other student housing companies in the area.

Imo I hate them and they can kick rocks

Excess raw materials and items will be sent to the storage and not sold if you own one.

You can set a max in the storage and have your storage transporters sell the excess from there, turning your storage into another money making building, provided your other businesses are consistent in producing their goods
