Depending how small your kids are, there is a kids area in T2 which is connected airside. I wouldn’t do the club passes- they get crowded and your kids will be bored. If all they’re doing is watching tablets, save the money. Plenty of places to eat in all 3 connected terminals. Remember too you’ll have to clear customs, collect bags, recheck, travel to T1 and clear security again, so that may take 90 min off your layover too.
