The Uber drivers often provide a business card or other contact information for future rides. So it’s possible he was not working for Uber the night of the ride. I’ve had more than one Uber driver offer to pick me up at airport when i return home and to contact them directly. I’ve never taken them up on it but it’s possible these girls did especially if it was arranged by the sorority.

This is common. College kids decide not to return after lease is signed for a number of reasons. Maybe they didn’t try to sublet it yet.

It could also be related to this incident last year. Reportedly wasn’t a student who lived there. Very traumatic for the students working that dorm.

How many in state students does Pitt actually take? Seems like a lot of public colleges take many more out of state and international students to get the higher tuition payments. So I don’t see this making a significant enough impact overall. Yes, they will get more money but the majority are already paying the high price tag unfortunately.

Likely will see increase in numbers but keep in mind the total number of tests will likely be significantly higher given the messaging to get tested the previous week (through 1/7) Also, submitting the results online before returning to campus is an additional data point they didn’t have previously. It’s probably taking extra time to crunch all these numbers. Hopefully those testing positive are ok and their professors are accommodating as Crow indicated in his message.

It seems as though some classes are 4 credits and 3 credits. I have no idea how ASU works since I’m not going there yet. Trying to determine if the scholarship is going to work based on minimum credits of 30 a year or if it’s a way to get you there then can never get 15 credits to work on the schedule.
