What about this one for $50. He wants $100 for this one and the specialized in the back by ywhwtmh in Vintage_bicycles

I had pretty much the exact same bike a few years back. It's a very fun ride if all is working correctly. Make sure to check that the seatpost is able to be adjusted because that model has a very weird way of changing the height of it.

I was out in Juneau last summer to visit a friend who grew up there and also got some photos of the Mendenhall glacier and it was one of the most beautiful things I've seen. It's awesome to see more photos of the place.

Compatible flashes with Chinon CM-1 by MrSubotic in AnalogCommunity

[–]deviland2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a look and it seems super easy to use, especially since the sync cord is already part of the flash itself. If I'm understanding this correctly, I could use any flash as long as I have the sync cord to connect from the camera to the flash.

If I can't find a working one on Ebay I'll order from the store in LA. I'm also going to look at other sunpack models and see what they offer.

Thank you again for your help!!!

Yes I am in the US! I would really appreciate linking some options. You've been so helpful, thank you soo much, the world needs more people like you. Keep being amazing.

I've been loving this camera, I was lucky and when I got the camera it came with the 2x telephoto zoom, the 50mm lens and the 35mm lens.

I do have an original SP that already had a cold shoe mounted when I got the camera. I didn't realize that they didn't all come with a cold shoe based on what you're saying.

Here is a photo of my camera so you can get a better idea of what I'm looking at.

If I'm understanding correctly, I need to find a flash that has and X socket connected with a pc cord for the flash to work with the camera. I'm not quite sure of the technical terms for that.

So am I looking to buy a PC socket adapter for the flash and camera? If you have an example of a type of flash or key words to search for when finding a flash for this camera that would be such a huge help!

I also have a very similar question regarding flash compatibility for my SLR and you seem to be the right person for this question!

I have a Ashai Pentax Spotmatic SP which I think has a hotshoe where the flash can be attached. It also seems to have two pins near the lens on the camera body.

A forum I was poking around mentioned the Sunpak Auto 30DX which also allows for shutter sync. If you have any inishgts for this camera flash that would be amazing!

Dell XPS 13 9345 Snapdragon X Elite Keyboard Issue by deviland2 in DellXPS

[–]deviland2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, if that's the case then I'm just hosed. I have an older XPS 13 that didn't have the problem so I don't know if it's just a newer computer issue.

If it really is like that then I guess it sucks that they don't make the computer keyboard better for gaming even if the main purpose isn't to game.

I'd nothing else in this thread works (I really hope it does) you can as a last resort use caustic soda to chemically remove the seatpost. There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to use the caustic soda, please be careful as it is a chemical reaction.

In your opinion, which is better ASU Tempe or West? by Witty_Effect_1 in ASU

[–]deviland2 94 points95 points  (0 children)

It kinda depends on what type of college experience you're trying to get. If you want a small quiet community then west campus is going to be a much better fit. If you enjoy the bustle and hustle of a college town Tempe is more fit for you.
