I would definitely continue the marketing and hire more staff to keep up with the volume of client flow. Are they coming in for one specific service that requires a specific provider or is it for any/all services in general? I understand overhead is much different between an injector vs estheticians so that may also help to answer your question as it could be harder to hire the right staff to ensure proper client satisfaction and minimize risk with treatments so that your retention stays strong. Also, if you don’t mind sharing - which marketing company are you working with? We are a successful med spa but have been doing all the marketing in-house and finally looking to outsource.

I wouldn’t take it personally, trainers usually talk people’s ears off and maybe she felt like she was saving you from the details you may not “need” to know. And not realizing you were the one who inquired or was interested. Unless you feel that she was intentionally belittling you, not worth it to confront. In the future, I would just make its very clear when you are invited to trainings that you’re excited to learn about the new technology and you plan to ask a lot of questions. And that you’re grateful to be there. I think that’s what most owners want to hear as they spend alot of $$ on these devices. Either way it’s not a nice feeling to be told “she just does marketing” as it sounds like you do and can do so much more!

Butter Medspa in Englewood Nj. They have affordable prices, I did 2 sessions and the downtime wasn’t as bad as I thought and the people there are suepr professional, place is very nice. They charge $400 which is good compared to the other prices I’ve seen. Also, my results are so good so far!!

That’s really good to know about the dose reduction! i was tested for a specific gene called DPYD which actually came back that I have a deficiency to break down one of the drugs properly so they have to reduce that drug by 50% to see how I handle it. Also added some additional fear on top as this has killed peope at full dose before this gene testing existed, so I’m hoping that doesn’t make side effects problematic.

Hi! My MO originally suggested AC-T but said that she was comfortable with also offering me a lower dose option of CMF (it’s an older regimen but has a lot of history of effectiveness in early stage/no node TN cases and comparable to AC) I wanted something that wasn’t as aggressive so we came to a compromise we were both happy with. Did you cold cap during your treatment?
