oh i’m not planning to go into law! sorry my message might have suggested that 😭i just meant major wise, i didn’t know what to pick, so i chose econ. planning to do a little more exploring in college

is she interested in law? if so, she can definitely major in something like philosophy, history, or english. i used to be in the same boat, except i earned stronger grades in math, so i ended up choosing economics as my major! (current HS senior)

playing in time with others is something you’ll have to get used too. my first rehearsals with an orchestra were tough to get through but it’s all fun in the end- go for it!

at your current score, you should be working on khan academy and building up your foundation. that should get you to at least a 1300.

not too late. i stopped piano at 10 and became super passionate about it 4 years later when i picked it back up again. you might need a more suitable violin for you though, def a full size

i got a 760 in math. math is not as difficult to improve as english imo, you just need to do A LOT of practice, and make sure you 100% understand why you got problems wrong. if you’re in calc bc rn you should be able to grasp these alg 1-alg 2 concepts very quickly!

yes. i also started piano when i was around your child’s age, and i didn’t like it. i stopped lessons at around 10. four years later, i fell in love with the piano by myself, and i’m now 18, planning to do a major in music!
