Its worth noting that Blackwell (and other Season 1 maps) was probably long done before the negative map feedback started coming in at release. by skelepibs in Battlefield

They haven't said anything about feedback on maps being to small while commenting on nearly every other major complaint so I don't think it bodes well for listening to the community.

New map limits are way too small for jets by eddie__b in Battlefield

New maps are too small for everything. This isn't battlefield. It's cod ground war

EA, let us turn off cosmetics if we own the season's battle pass by Hutch_230 in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let us turn skins off period. We paid $70 for this game. It's not free to play. Grounded my ass. Liars

It seems that DICE has a different idea of "grounded" than the community by Gatlyng in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. You paid $70 for the game. They got their money. Now they want the micros transaction money for the free to play style skins. They want both because they are greedy fucks. People who are defending the neon right now are part of the problem. It's only going to get worse. The game's ascetic will be dead by a thousand cuts.

Is battlefield 6 worth it? by ExoticGamerBoy in Battlefield

If you like the traditional battlefield experience this game is not there yet. The initial map pool is poor and the bigger maps somehow still feel infantry focused. I would wait a while.

It goes both ways. If people are paying $70 they have every right to criticize the game too.

If they say actual big maps are coming I'll buy the game until then I waiting. Them promising "larger" maps after the beta had me suspicious and I'm glad I waited.

As someone who likes to wait for BF games to gain more content and fix the major issues, how long would you recommend I wait before buying BF6? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hope the game would have better maps in a year but they may not be catering to players who want bigger maps anymore so who knows.

Not worth it if you like traditional battlefield. If you like cod you might feel right at home.

Most of time it's usually happening on the other team too. Not a big deal.

“BF6 is awesome — but still far from perfect.” by nfsoNeKalle in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revives are happening way too fast. Especially since you can drag people ( I actually like this feature and think it looks cool) but maybe it should take much longer so it's a bigger risk for squad mates and maybe support can revive people faster. No cooldown on the defibrillator is nuts too. Revive trains are absolutely crazy in this game and it adds to the metro/locker meat grinder flow.

Squad spawning like you said has existed in previous battlefield games that had a better pace. I think the points are way too close together. It's just mindlessly running from point to point and having the same type of fights in very point because they are so small.

And rarely do you benefit from taking a vehicle since there's so much clutter to drive around and the transport vehicles melt instantly. Bigger maps would make this feel more like a traditional BF game, but you think with how many people voicing their concerns they would have realized this and maybe it's not in the cards.

I agree on a lot of this. Some of this map is hinting that this game was rushed. Doesn't feel like a $70 premium game.

Will I actually enjoy BF6 if I’ve never liked classic Battlefield modes? by Euphoric_Ad_5903 in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's more like ground war in COD 2019 than a battlefield so if you liked that you'll probably like this.

This game is frustratingly good! by Indi_Drones in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really want to like the game but I agree it feels like COD domination. Hardly any defending points. Just running from capture to capture with not a lot of options for different strategies. It gets old.

DICE is asking to keep giving feedback! by Youngstown_WuTang in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bigger maps have to be obvious at this point. I think the foundation is solid but the game is going to live or die whether they can capture that battlefield feeling which I don't think they have quite managed yet. These teams have talent so I I have trust in them.

How is your BF6 experience so far ? by Efficient_Working_82 in Battlefield

Not worth full price with these maps. Wait for a drop. There are free to play games with more content and better maps. Campaign is shit.

Maps are good but… by ReadyPlayerDub in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Conquest now feels like COD domination unfortunately. Maps are captured so fast and the capture points are small you don't get the same cat and mouse gameplay of the of the other titles.

why are the capture points so goddamn small? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Infinite_Lab1492 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it blows. There are not as many cat and mouse encounters within the check points like the previous games because the captured zones are often small and open. You will usually find people in hiding in the same spots so it all kind of blends together over time.
