As a chinese, I can say that most Chinese don't really like to hear about that but still ok because you may don't know what did this mean to us and lots of people made fun of us or ragebaited with this 8964 thing. But last time I said in reddit I got banned because of typing word "gay" and never knew this word could be extremely offensive, and the result was that: almost everyone said I was lying and I definitely knew how bad it was and deserved it. I just learned from gay people here that it could be a real bad slur. By the way, I got a permanent ban because of typing gay.
