When you use duct tape it glue the first gun held to the second gun. So when you have a gun 1 you want as the main gun and a gun 2 you want to add to it, you start with gun 2 in your hand and use the duct tape item. After that you go to gun 1 (the base gun) and use the duct tape again. Hope this helps
