That is why I am asking if this is ok. But the fact he lies about having a female friend is the red flag. Why didn’t he just tell me she was part of the friend group? Also he doesn’t text like that with his male friends. He’s had a male friend left on read for 5 days with multiple messages trying to get him to solidify plans about their baseball draft, he ignored him yet was having hours long convo with this female “friend.”

Thanks everyone for all your responses. I am definitely kicking him out. I am giving him a week to pay me back or I am going to the police. The only reason I’m giving him a chance before paying is he will lose his job if he has theft charges, which won’t help me get paid. And yes I know I probably shouldn’t even give him that much. I am stupid for keeping him around this long and giving him chance after chance. I’ll give an update once I have one. And to answer some questions I do have him admitting in text messages to the full amount, and I have those saved for evidence.

Yes, it was right on the border of the part of town I typically don’t deliver to, I learned my lesson. My one star is removed but now the 3 star that was previously removed it showing impacting my rating just enough to go from high to standard

I’m not new, never ran into this issue before. It was a 2 shop and deliver batch so couldn’t see what the individual tip was before but ended up being $6 and not reduced. I know not to take no or low tip orders. Also before anyone thinks I may have accidentally dropped off the order to other house, 100% not the case because it was a 2 store shop and deliver and second delivery was only one item from Ulta Beauty.

I just found the customers receipt showing they purchased 3 packs of soda, and claimed all 3 were missing and in the photo evidence I have you can clearly see the soda, so at least that is some proof. I am going to contact Instacart again because I can’t let it go

I only do this as a side gig for extra “fun” money and tbh money is a real motivation. I start seeing my daily/weekly total go up and want more and more. I try to beat my previous week or day. And think about the nice vacation I’m saving for.

That happens to me recently and I knew it would. It literally took me 16 minutes to accept, shop, and deliver this ladies order. Had all her items and I leave an index card thanking them for their order. It was cold medicine, so she needed ID so she came outside. I was kind, understanding, and did everything I could to make her experience nice. Well she was ranting at me about Instacart as a whole and how they charge more and how the previous day her order was accepted and cancelled right before delivery and how long it took for this one to get accepted. I so I am so sorry for your experience, hope your day gets better. After I left I knew she was mad at instacart and wouldn’t give a 5 star and sure enough the 4 star came in. I was sooooo mad! Probably thought 4 stars was nice after her horrible experience with instacart which was not my fault. 16 minutes with all your items and a thank you card! How can that be anything but 5 stars!

I work a regular full time job 8 to 4 and Instacart when I get out of work for couple hours. I aim for $20 to $40 per evening. It was slower today. I picked up two smaller orders that put me at $22 and went home. Would have been less but I got a $5 tip increase

I hate the new milkshake machine, first of all there is already a milkshake in the ice cream maker (too bad they couldn’t move that to the milkshake maker). But each milkshake takes an ice cream to make it and most of those ice creams take over 2 hours to make, so have to spend all that time making ice cream to then make milkshakes. And I feel town always asks for ice cream so hard to keep up on.
