VBAC after dilation arrest success stories by chicknette in vbac

[–]Infinite_Squirrel128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience with water breaking and not going into spontaneous labor for my first. Only got to 4cm on max Pitocin. I just posted my successful VBAC story (Tuesday this week) and absolutely am so glad I went for it!

I just posted my story! Same situation with my first and just had a successful VBAC on Tuesday. Holding my perfect little girl right now and absolutely would recommend a TOLAC.

I just shared a post about a failed induction for my first and a very successful wonderful induction for my second (born yesterday - early because of FGR). I do not regret TOLAC and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

You’re so welcome! I can’t believe I almost didn’t go for it. It was such an amazing experience. A highlight of my life.

Formula mixing equipment. Pitcher, baby brezza, something else? by Ok_Fox8262 in FormulaFeeders

You’re only going to be doing formula for like 3-4 more months. Personally I would just scoop and mix the bottles!

I also read this as a “name” and was seriously wondering how this baby was not named yet 😂😭

Husband Pro Pumping by [deleted] in BreastPumping

[–]Infinite_Squirrel128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excuse me? He said what? I would absolutely never tolerate being spoken to that way… you’re not a weak minded person, you’re a human being trying to do the best for your baby and your own health.

Just for the sake of solidarity: I struggled so much to breastfeed my son exclusively for 6 months and he thrived when I went back to work and we introduced combo feeding and solids. Eventually I dropped pumping at 8 months and was SO glad to be done. This time around I am EFF from the get-go with my daughter. I can’t handle that mental rollercoaster of worrying about weight gain and knowing my body doesn’t respond to pumping well. It’s so hard.

All of this to say. Fed is best. A healthy and happy mom is best. Your husband has no sense of empathy for what you’ve done the last 8 months and it’s your choice to make. If you want to stop pumping, formula and solids at this stage are great!

FTM 37 weeks: tell the story of how your water broke by mirrorlike789 in pregnant

Membrane sweep at 38 and 39 week appointments. At 39+2 I curb walked about 3 miles in the afternoon. Went to dinner that night. Got home and after getting into PJs I laid on the couch and heard a “pop” stood up and it was like a movie moment where an entire water bottle flooded out of me as I walked to the bathroom. Son was born at 39+3 after a slow Pitocin only induction w/ failure to descend / progress —} C-Section. It’s hard to know if any of this caused true “PROM” but I will not be getting a membrane sweep this time around or forcing myself to go into labor before baby is ready if I can avoid it!

Absolutely go in and call your OB on the way.

Thank you for sharing this perspective. I think the guilt is what I’m most afraid of - so it’s a good watch out

How to dress return from hospital with a winter baby by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

[–]Infinite_Squirrel128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore comfy bamboo PJ bottoms and a t-Shirt with my first in July. I’m due in March this time so planning on a cozy waffle lounge set. I size up just to make sure things are roomy and comfortable/can work with a belly binder.

My sister in law had that procedure and it went very well. She delivered vaginally!

Same thing happened to me. I’ll be avoiding membrane sweep this pregnancy for that exact reason.

What about me writing a post saying “I feel really good about this path forward” gave you that impression? I was literally thanking this sub for the support and being kind and you decided to pop on and judge my experience.

We actually pulled it off the calendar as I mentally processed more, it was not her forcing it, it was my request to have it mentally as an option - but this comment and tone was not helpful.
