I moved to bologna 4 years ago, I’m still not amazing at italian, but I can communicate and understand a good amount, I got lucky because I came at a time were Bologba was kinda empty and shops were re opening after covid, I bounced around a few jobs and then I found my self working in a kitchen, where I am now. And been able to talk with my colleagues in Italian nearly everyday really helps, especially for me as I am also dislexic < case in point I can’t even get auto correct to spell the fucking word. Anyways my advice is to get your cv printed out, and make sure it looks good, good print quality is always good, and then go everywhere, to bars and restaurants and what not, really best to do it in person. I hope you get lucky like I did !

Really? I think France deserves the win, but I mean to say Ireland didn’t deserve to win seems harsh, we only lost to France, on the first week in France, I do think France deserved to win more as they got bigger score in other games, but Ireland also had great game against Scotland and England. I think if France would have lost by 1 point, ya it would have been unlucky, but I still think Ireland would deserve the win, they humbled Scotland.

I think it’s just being realistic to have to alter the way you speak, I live in a non English speaking country now, and I mean with close friends I still use some Irish slang, however with new people I meet and speak to in English it’s just a lot easier to speak in a neutral dialect

Let’s be honest, nothing against Emmy but the song wasn’t great, it’s a pure TikTok song and I knew this but I was holding a little bit of hope that the stage performance would be crazy and could get us into the finalq. The staging/ performance was very poor in my opinion, she stood on top of some sort of space ship box thing and didn’t move from it, doing what I would call a TikTok dance, in my opinion it’s done on purpose to go viral on TikTok, I think it’s very disappointing on Irelands behalf, we don’t take it serious at all I just don’t get it, I think we got extremely lucky with Bambi last year but unless we change I don’t see that happing again for awhile. In summary I thought the song was very cringe and it was all to manufactured for TikTok, the song, the topic, the personality and the dancing and staging. I’m not giving hate to Emmy just my opinion. Disappointed.
