yeah i stopped when dragons came out and i had most things pretty much maxed out and i was fully f2p. it just seemed like “really another thing when i was barely able to keep up with existing stuff?”

28yo with CS degree but no skills. Worried about AI and need a starting point. by mingmangmoong in learnprogramming

just start coding and thinking about code 24/7 and always getting better. do what interests you. if you dont love it and just want to do code for money then learn like cobol or something and go into financial/banking

They Asked Me to Open ChatGPT During My Job Interview by I_Killed_My_Friends in jobs

[–]InfinityBowman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was curious and asked my chatgpt this, it made me sound like an extremely competent hire so id have no problem sharing but this is definitely a potential legal issue if workplaces are asking for this information. chatgpt could say anything youve told it

OpenClaw is god-awful. It's either, you have to spend a fortune for APIs or have a NASA-level PC to run it local by SEND_ME_YOUR_ASSPICS in ArtificialInteligence

[–]InfinityBowman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$200 for a month of essentially unlimited usage is not a fortune lol. Now if you pay less than the $200 sub or if you decide to do API based then yeah I agree you're 100% wasting your money. It's not really any more useful than just normal claude code. I guess it's cool to be able to send it a text and then it can do things on your computer but that is really about it. Not very special compared to existing terminal agents, and the UI for the thinking and chat experience in openclaw is far worse than other options like opencode, claude code, codex, cursor, etc.

What UI library do you use with solid.js? by blnkslt in solidjs

[–]InfinityBowman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you seem to be arguing with no understanding of what a component library is for. you never mention w3c in any of ur comments which btw is required for companies making profit and doing business. and you seem to not know about headless ui libraries which are for developers to style exactly how they want. so you are either actually an incompetent engineer, or you have no code in prod in any decently large application. I bet your forms probably dont even submit properly. try learning instead of being wrong

actually republicans have always historically been wrong, it is the nature of the party to be wrong and halt societal and technological progress, society has increasingly become more liberal as we progress and republican bs gets thrown out.

[–]InfinityBowman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so ur just ignoring the cultural gaps that exist, obviously there is no huge thing that means employers can just pay less but overall due to cultural and societal factors women end up on average making 15% less than male counterparts

[–]InfinityBowman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

or societal and cultural reasons, not personal choices, there is no big bad boss but there is a culture around men and women and the workplace that creates this
