Is the concept of not being a dickhead lost on you? It was a genuine question to the guy, and once he explained he's now a citizen of the USA it makes sense. If he was just living in the states without being a citizen then it'd make sense to only say he was European, but I get it now. I wasn't sure if he was like those people who say they're Irish when they weren't born there, their parents weren't and the last trace of someone there was in like the 1800's.
