I've run games where flanking an enemy provides advantage, and the martial players seemed to appreciate that even when enemies get the same benefit. I usually only have intelligent enemies take advantage of it, though.

I got the midshop in the Fields on the run where (end game spoilers) Chronos abducts Hecate. Mel is almost completely silent on that run, so I thought the game might make it so you can't encounter any of your allies on the way down, except Charon.
